Origin+Bloom deserves a 2nd post for its illustrious entremets. Elaborated in grandeur, these yummy cakes are made by Antonio Benites who has worked for Joel Robuchon and Pierre Herme. So expect high quality goodness! We ordered the signature black symphony and Berries charlotte cake (cannot remember the exact name) which are meticulously crafted in layers of creme, mousse, biscotti, chocolate,sponge cake, fruit and glaze.

The whole 9 yards reminds me of kueh lapis for its colourful layers of ingredients. Besides its stunning visual asthetics, it is a wholesomely delicious sandwich has a variety of meat and vegetables proportionally stacked: leafy greens and lettuce, ham, salami, salsa and cheese. A must-order if you are craving for a meal at origin+bloom.

A European bakery in Marina Bay Sands Hotel lobby, open as early as 7am daily. You will find lots of tourists would drop by for their breakfast here. Serving drink and pastries, they have a very limited seats available or you can take away.

Found this croissant that comes with otah-otah inside, so decided to give it a try. The croissant was crispy but the otah-otah inside wasn’t a lot as expecting. $5.50

Origin + Bloom sold the most beautiful cakes! Apart from being visually appealing, their cakes tasted amazing as well.

This was filled with custard, layered with many berries within the cream. I was surprised that they’d fit different berries into this tiny dessert!

Half expected generic coffee but alas, their house blend of premium beans made a strong case for them in my podium of coffee places.

Their cold drip coffee ($6) pleasantly surprised me on the first sip — I was greeted with an intense depth of flavour that was intense and chocolate-tinged, though a gentle fruitiness still peeked through for an intricate balance.
