I'm so glad we ordered this, despite thinking that we should only order steak at a steakhouse. Then again, I realised this is more than a steakhouse, it's a "steak and seafood grill", and this dish certainly carried the torch for the restaurant.
🔸
This lovely platter came with maine lobster, hokkaido scallops, skull island tiger king prawns, fremantle octopus, and new zealand little neck clams. All of which had a lovely smokey scent on the exterior, so heavenly that I had to ask what grill they had used to fire this. And definitely, it's also the freshness of the seafood and the mastery of the grill that allowed each seafood here to retain their juices and tenderness.
🔸
Certainly not cheap, but this is meant to be shared between two person, so feel free to share the love and share the bill :)

Really good. You know there aren't many good foie gras around, but this foie gras is definitely of premium grade. It had a rich buttery taste that tasted clean, and came with a soft interior that quickly melted into creamy liver butter.

Chef Douglas has a couple of variants of this dish - this came with orange textures, vanilla and coriander, while the one to be served at TGFF2018 will come with pineapple textures. But regardless, what's common is that they all come with a beautifully crusted exterior. And with that crust and foie gras this good, the accompaniments actually don't matter that much anymore.

I count myself very lucky to have dined here at Osia located at Resort World Sentosa. Osia was awarded One Michelin Star for two years from 2016 to 2017, and Two Stars for Singapore's Top Restaurants @sgtoprestaurants 2018 House of Stars.

Besides their awesome flatbread ($14) which you must definitely order, I've tried 3 starters, a seafood main, a steak main, and 2 desserts. I'll set out my recommendations soon in separate posts soon!
