Milk based ice, frozen berries, almonds flakes, watermelon and green tea ice cream in a beautiful crystal shell. According to the owner, the inspiration of the crystal bingsu came to him one night when he couldn’t stand the heat. The ice shell is frozen for 18 hours and was capable to keep the bingsu frozen for quite a while. So take all the pictures you want without the fear of it melting.

My friend came over to Subang one fine night and requested to go for dessert, and we ended up here.

Bingsu, it is! For RM15, I think this was pretty filling for two, and decent even if it was to be shared among three individuals.

It reminded me of Horlicks, though I am sure it wasn't that. I believe it was Korean fine soya bean powder 😅 they also had chewy Korean rice cakes inside, quite interesting.

So far, this is the only place I'd go for bingsu, really. Oh, and Beans & Beans! But this is behind my house, so convenient 😌 try it out, I don't think it'll disappoint, hopefully.

SS15 has its fair share of Korean cuisine, and OW:L Espresso offers bingsus of all flavours! With ice shavings as smooth as snow, and a cosy spot on the first floor of Menara Rajawali, you almost completely forget about the heat outside. Try the Mango Cheese (RM23 regular, RM38 large) for a fruity and subtly nutty bingsu topped with vanilla ice cream and cheesecake cubes. If you’re a little more adventurous, go for the Brownies (RM18 regular, RM32 large). Instead of the usual milk-based ice, Brownies features a chocolate-flavoured bingsu topped with brownies, chocolate ice cream and coated with oreo powder (!). These bingsus are big enough to share between three or more people so bring your classmates or friends here for a cool treat! Finish off with a citrusy signature Iced Yuja Tea (RM15), a refreshing cooler to keep you up for the next class.

Some loves it on a sunny day. But everyone would go for dessert everyday!
The Korean version of ice kacang. Though I'm a little spoilt from the amazing bingsu from Korea, I can give kudos to OW:L as it was really yummy and less diabetic. Not a surprise since they originated from Gangnam, Seoul.
Perhaps one of the better bingsu places in Malaysia.
Layers: Vanilla ice cream. Real pieces of cheesecake. Generous amount of mangoes. All on top of milk shaved ice.
Food: 7/10 Price: 7/10 (RM 23 for small size)

Second bowl of bingsu in my life! I actually like bingsu, I think they are actually good since Malaysia is always so hot. Even better, we had to walk from Brewyard to the other end of SS15 to reach this place, so it was calming (I'd like to think 😂).

This was one of their bestsellers, so we tried this. Their shaved ice looked like coconut sprinkles so Liyana kept asking if Emily and I tasted the coconut 😂 nope, they don't have coconut. They had the mango cube bits, cube cheesecake bits and vanilla ice cream. Oh, and nuts!

For some reasons, I thought I could finish this bowl, but I got full after a while. Oh, life.
