Paik’s Bibim was established at the back of the success of it’s sister brand – Bornga in Singapore for which the first outlet was opened at StarVista in Oct 2012, followed by the 2nd outlet in VivoCity in May 2013. The 3rd Bornga outlet will be opened in Suntec City Mall in September 2014. The first Paik’s Bibim outlet in Singapore was opened in Bedok Mall (#01-95) in November 2013. The encouraging market response had prompted the opening of the second outlet in VivoCity (#02-125) in April 2014. Paik’s Bibim offers a modernized version of everyone’s favorite Korean dish – Bibimbap. The traditional dish is interpreted into a simple, hearty meal at a very affordable price to customers around the world. Each Bibim dishes come with a good serving of fresh vegatables which together with other ingredients promote a balance and healthy diet. Apart from the “Bap” or rice dishes, the restaurant also offers small variety of noodle dishes and snacks. New dishes such as Spicy Beef Bibimbap, Seafood Bibimbap, Spicy Noodle and Topokki (rice cake) have been added as new menu in September 2014.

RN there's a promo where a bibimbap costs 8.5-9 normally but for 9.9 u get an extra fried egg and a drink(2.5) and the small drinks are super refreshing. Apparently they don't allow you to add meat and once u taste the bibimbap you will know why. The meat and the sauce it comes with is very savoury and it gives the perfect amount of saltiness after mixing, so adding meat would make the dish too salty. To be honest I always thought of bibimbap as a simple dish but I'm impressed with the flavours whenever I come here

Rather solid and firm(I'm guessing thickening agent or did they not add much water?)

Anyway get the drinks and side dish deal if possible cos the juices were really refreshing. Grape and pear were tried and approved (Y)

Love the spicy kick and how all the flavours and freshness complement each other in this colourful dish!

This marinated tofu bibimbap ($6.90) was quite interesting as it had fresh lettuce instead of the usual sauteed vegetables. The tofu was well marinated, and I liked the addition of seaweed on top. Only thing missing was an egg.

(Apologies for the photo that doesn't show much)

Went to have this as I received an enthusiastic recommendation of it. It costs $7.90 and comes in the big bowl. Portion is great! I was starving and this filled me up real good.

MIx everything up with the noodles at the bottom. Noodles are springy and smooth; I was slurping it up like there was no tomorrow. Ingredients are plentiful and you get this feeling that you're eating healthily.

The noodles come with a bowl of soup and an appetizer. Very value-for-money and satisfying. 4/5
