Paik’s Bibim is the brainchild of Jong Won Paik, one of Korea’s most successful and renowned celebrity chefs, who has anchored itself as a popular household favourite in Korea. Paik’s Bibim was established at the back of the success of it’s sister brand – Bornga in Singapore for which the first outlet was opened at StarVista in Oct 2012, followed by the 2nd outlet in VivoCity in May 2013. The 3rd Bornga outlet will be opened in Suntec City Mall in September 2014. The first Paik’s Bibim outlet in Singapore was opened in Bedok Mall (#01-95) in November 2013. The encouraging market response had prompted the opening of the second outlet in VivoCity (#02-125) in April 2014. Paik’s Bibim offers a modernized version of everyone’s favorite Korean dish – Bibimbap. The traditional dish is interpreted into a simple, hearty meal at a very affordable price to customers around the world. Each Bibim dishes come with a good serving of fresh vegatables which together with other ingredients promote a balance and healthy diet. Apart from the “Bap” or rice dishes, the restaurant also offers small variety of noodle dishes and snacks. New dishes such as Spicy Beef Bibimbap, Seafood Bibimbap, Spicy Noodle and Topokki (rice cake) have been added as new menu in September 2014.

A vegetarian dish that is both filling and tasty! I loved how the crunchy vegetables complemented the well-marinated soy-sauce tofu. I only wished that they had provided more gochujang, one saucer is definitely not enough for a spice lover like me! I think it would be alright to ask for more, since there used to be a bottle placed at every table in pre-COVID days.

Haven't eaten this in a long time and there was a deal for the set (rice + drink) on shopee for $8 (with $1 voucher to offset) so I decided to get it! Still taste exactly like how i remembered it with the crispy bits and mayo sauce. Still the best bowl among the others imo. The crisps just give it a whole new texture that isn't there for the other bowls. There used to be a side dish (radish kimchi, etc) but sadly, seems like there is only a soup. Soup was tasty with some beansprouts inside.

My favourite choice of side dish here. What I really enjoy is the fried rice cakes - very special! Crispy on the outside and once you chew a few times, it changes to the usual sticky chewy feel. Fantastic sensation. Love it!

đź‘Ťđź‘Ťđź‘ŤSuper generous portion! My mouth was so tired from all the chewing of crunchy ingredients. The underdog here is definitely the bean sprout soup - looks plain and normal, but its actually well seasoned, with a subtle taste of corn. Oh, when mixing the rice, remember to add their Gochujang (chilli sauce)! Need this to complete the authentic taste.

Probably this is the big, cheap cup of coffee I had in Singapore after Korea trip. Finally I can had my cravings fixed without flying to Korea. Currently there are 2 outlets - city link & tiong bahru plaza.

First time trying naengmyeon and the spicy sauce got to me! Its a little hotter than i expected (in both sense of the word) and absolutely worth it with Grab's $2 promo.

We got the KFC (korean fried chicken) in Citrus sauce, which is an intriguing sweet taste that I'm not too used to. The crisp and tenderness is well captured. The egg portion was smaller than expected, but given that its just $3.

Highly recommend the chicken!!
