Our favourite flavours from this Xiao Long Bao basket are the crab and foie gras ones. Have a colourful weekend everyone!

Making a game out of picking at each baton of sweet, crunchy bamboo, bacon or garlic with my chopsticks enhanced my enjoyment of an already quite enjoyable appetiser which scored big on texture and a pleasing undercurrent of garlicky smokiness.

my favs wld be the garlic and the truffle one, whr the flavours were prominent but not overpowering. the cheese and crab roe was a lil too much for me and it kinda lost is essence as a bao. not bad for first try to sample everything or if u like variety + it looks cute but personally wld just order a basket full of the ones i like 😋

Very interesting dining experience! Always had their traditional XLBs so this was an eventuality.

Honestly not all were star hitters but it’s something you should try once especially if you like their original XLB.

Personal favourites: the Foie Gras, and the Cheese.

The truffle one is hyped, but IMO, truffle should stay with Italian/western dishes.

While it looks pretty plain and blah, their chinese wine chicken is actually pretty meaty with a pretty hard hitting alcoholic kick.

Something to note is that its served chilled after being marinated with shaoxing rice wine and other medicinals giving it a sort of acquired taste. Hence, in terms of blow-your-mind umami flavour its not gonna win any awards, but instead it provides a nice deep touch of chinese tradition thats not commonly found on the modern avant-garde menus that seem to be popping up lately.
