Got the Reuben and spicy chicken sandwich! Of the two, I loveddddd the chicken sandwich! Mildly spicy, juicy and crispy chicken drizzled in HONEY topped with a delicious slaw!!!! The Reuben was also pretty good cause they were very generous with the beef but it was a little too salty for me and nothing else :โ€™) cheese and bread were good tho!

Crispy Hot Chicken: a juicy chicken thigh enclosed within a soft potato bun, accompanied with slaw and chili mayo. The spice and honey together is strongly reminiscent of Korean Fried Chicken, but it seems Mexican-inspired. Not that I care, itโ€™s ultimately a heck of a chicken sandwich. And itโ€™s big. Hot damn, cluckers.

Wanted the Mushroom Melt but they were out of mushrooms ๐Ÿ˜ญ, understandably, given that I went an hour before they close. Settled for the Kale Grilled Cheese, consisting of braised kale, caramelised onions, mozzarella, cheddar, gruyere and white sourdough. The finished product was a crispy sourdough with slight burnt on it, giving off a very nice crunch with every bite. The cheese was also of the right balance, enough to make every bite cheese filled but not overwhelmingly jelat. A very satisfying lunch indeed

I wasn't impressed with the sandwich-makers' recently-launched $10 burger for weekday dinners, considering it's a challenger to Meatsmith's legendary Tuesday $10 cheeseburger. I only have lofty expectations for PBD, but this ๐—ณ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐—ฑ ๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป ๐—ฏ๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ด๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ($10) truly made me relate to the disappointment my parents feel towards me.
First, the bun was soggy and squished up (ร  la Burger King) which is a fatal flaw for any burger. The patty was well grilled but I found them too heavy-handed with flavours, which led to a jarringly salty and peppery profile. Alas, little alleviation was available from the onions' sharpness as it was weirdly scant.
Overall, the flavours felt tedious even for a small-ish burger. Maybe it's just not my thing or an off-day since I've seen good reviews, so try it out yourself. I'm personally not gonna return for it, especially when their sandwiches are better and more filling for a few more bucks. This just ain't it, doc.
