Will totally have this OOZY savory sandwich for all three meals not just brekkie 🌞💗 @parkbenchdeli created the most indulging breakfast sandwich 🤤🧀 it has all your favorite ingredients for breakfast:
⭐️ spam
⭐️ Swiss cheese
⭐️ omelette
⭐️ sliced white
Made into a GIANT CRISPY KATSU tender inside with different layers of creamy oozy intensity of cheese and egg 🍳 with the final touch of the soft milky Japanese bread 🍞 this is just da bomb💯💣💕

I mean that already ticks all the right boxes in this glutton’s tummy. Toss in some spam, omelette, and melty cascading Swiss cheese in there and dayum guys we’ve got a winning sammie here. The flavours are no stranger to us, but the way they’re assembled together’s what excites me. Stacking the tamago-like pressed omelette, spam, and cheese together, before breading it and frying it up like a regular katsu patty, then sandwiching that crunchy thicc golden patty between 2 slices of fluffy white bread — absolutely delish. I did find the batter a little thicker than I’d like, and the spam a little too thin a slice (I eat spam by the can mind you), but this was plenty yummy and I’d order it again in a heartbeat.

Visited the newly reopened PBD! They revamped their whole menu with lots of new additions!

We had the
- Breakfast Sandwich ($15)
- PBD Big Breakfast ($22)

Our thoughts:
- Breakfast sandwich was decent but i thought the sauce was a lil too overpowering. Additionally, considering that the main protein was spam, i thought $15 was a lil on the pricey side.
- PBD Big Breakfast was great! Big portions and good flavours! The item which stood out the most was the ricotta pancakes - light, fluffy and you could literally taste the fat in it 🤤

We also had the cold brew and double shot coffee white, both were smooth and great coffees!

Overall would recommend, but note that if you’re coming for the sandwiches, they only start serving it at 11am!

Last couple of days to pick up this pho-nomenal sub at @parkbenchdeli’s pop-up at! A crazy thiccc layer of shaved roast beef with the signature flavours of Vietnamese cuisine in that crunchy herb salad in a crusty French roll; all to be dunked into this slick, rich pho dip. Now, better hold on to your buns a little tighter than us, or you’ll end up in the pho splash zone, but that didn’t detract from how dam tasty this whole ensemble is.

We all know PBD whips up stellar ones so I can’t say I was expecting any less, but I didn’t think I’d be THIS in love with their Pho French Dip ($18) special at their Sugarfin pop-up 🤤 Literally took my first bite and swooned. SO 👏🏻 BLOODY 👏🏻 GOOD 👏🏻 Let me try to explain this coherently: a generous stack of shaved roast beef + a crunchy herb salad + mayo, sandwiches in a fluffy French roll, served with a rich pho broth on the side. What really made this sandwich for me were the herb salad and broth. Now that pho broth’s soooo packed with flavour. Yknow the soup at the base of your stockpot, that’s collected all the meaty sediments, mushy veggies, and flavour? This broth is basically it. I’m not too sure what exactly was in that herb salad, but there was definitely beansprouts, coriander, and what I thought was morning glory. Fabulous crunch, super refreshing, and cuts through richness of the broth as well as the saltiness from the roast beef. Imho that herb salad really lifted the whole dish. If anything, I’d wish for a crustier French roll that’d better hold up to all that dunking.

Maybe because I grew up eating Subway, I found this quite overpriced.

Would sing praises for the super creamy burrata but the overly salty prosciutto & rock-hard bread (literally got tired of cutting it💀) made me wonder if my wallet-friendly Sub would satisfy just as much.
