📍Park Bench Deli (Telok Ayer St)
- Turkey Classic🥪

Complimentary sandwich from Burpple! Thank you!😊
Juicy and tender turkey, moreover, generous portion (look at the pic, not kidding)!😋

The turkey is already tender to begin with (don’t know how they did it), with the lettuce and tomato adding moist to it, you don’t have to worry about the texture~

For meat lover, fret not, they have bacon on top of the turkey, can you imagine how filling this is?

As for the taste, don’t look at it like as if it is bland, the saltiness from the bacon, complements such as pepperoncini, red onion and tomato vinaigrette just enhanced the sandwich with that flavourful taste!

As for the ciabatta, ideally toasted, not that chewy and not that hard, just nice!

這家的三文治有好吃
火雞弄的很嫩且多汁
味道好又很有飽足感
謝謝Burpple的招待!

Damage: $16

This was nice with fluffy potato buns having scrambled eggs, bacon, caramelised onions, cheese and special sauce in between. This was tasty but not that special I feel.

We had a PB&J sandwich and it was nice but not something that I like 😅 if you’re having this it would be good to share because it’s sweet with peanut butter and there’s a chocolatey flavour from the chocolate bread. There are cornflakes on this to give that extra crunch too!

I would eat this sandwich over cake, and I love cake more than anything, so this speaks waves about this wonderful creation. A luxurious rendition of an enduring breakfast classic: a thick dose of crunchy peanut butter was unapologetically slathered on two slices of cornflake-coated chocolate bread. Not to forget the jam, which gave a lighter dimension to the nutty-savory profile of the peanut butter sandwhich. There is something so satisfying about the interplay of textures- a creamy sticky spread, fluffy bread centre and crunch of toasted cornflakes, all tied together by the jam. Served hot and crispy, this is not your everyday breakfast, or your casual pre-gym snack. I enjoyed my sandwich thoroughly, and may we never talk about the calories.

$16++. Ok this was a really tasty burger in all aspects, the only downside being that it’s rly a bit too pricey for me haha, and it was already one of the cheapest on the menu.... Miss when it used to be on burpple beyond :”(

Last Saturday, I had walked in here with the intention of ordering Guest Chef Alan’s (Instagram: @malaccamakanking) sandwich (it’s a Char Siew Glazed Beef Tongue Banh Mi) but sadly, they had run out of it. Fortunately, Chef Gabriel (Instagram: @paulotism) was quick to suggest he‘d make me something new: a yet-to-be-launched sandwich.

My verdict: Two thumbs up!

The Kimchi Grilled Cheese is one appetising creation for sure. I liked how the not-too-sour house-made Korean pickles and locally-grown kale offset the hot ooey-gooey richness of melted mozzarella and smoked cheddar. Ordinary butter wasn’t going to cut it either. It had to be sesame butter that got the honour of being spread on the sliced bread being they went on the grill.

Another plus: The portion is hefty, so two people with smaller appetites can split it.
