Dabao’ed this from Ekiben, proudly run by a lovely family business on Level 2 of Pasir Ris Hawker Centre!

The teriyaki chicken had a smooth glaze and scrumptious grill, and wasn’t too sweet or salty. the bed of japanese rice was generously topped up with sesame seeds, and generous servings of salad, edamame, and a gyoza!

I also like the daily special - it’s usually tofu, mushrooms, and today, it was nacho chips with a homemade salsa. Although this ain’t Jap, i loved the twist.

Overall, very reliable go-to for lunch!

Wanted to get their dory but it was already sold out... Ordered their haddock instead at SGD9

Mediocre at best. Please don’t expect too much from this. The only thing that stood out for me was their huge lemon slice AHHAHA

I should have queued for Wild Olives sia even though it’s an hour long queue...

The price is reasoning and the ingredients are fresh. The owner is very kind. Customers can help to donate for the Low income to have a meal during this covid period.

We ordered our usual, enoki, kangkong, cabbage, quail eggs, beancurd skin, potato, taupok, maggi & fish. The bill came up to $14. At this stall, the auntie will help u to pick ur ingredients so we were shocked when she added 5 quail eggs into our bowl 😱 but the prices were reasonable given the large amount of food she picked for us. We spent about 30 mins queuing & another 30 mins waiting for the food tho bc it was really crowded on a Friday night! We opted for 大辣 & we found that the mala was v nicely seasoned, & had a slight spiciness kick. It got a little bit too oily at the bottom tho but still v affordable. Just not sure if it was worth the wait. Maybe we’ll try their mala fish @ $22 next time!

We ordered this bc the omu rice looked so good in their menu but we were disappointed to find out that their definition of omu rice is literally just rice wrapped in a fried egg. It wasn’t flowy at all :( chicken katsu was well-seasoned & crispy. Curry just tastes like those u would get @ the jap stall in a kopitiam. Nothing special! There are other things on their menu tho, like teriyaki chicken don @ $5.90, we’ll give that a try next time!

This was really bad. Possibly one of the worst ayam panggangs I have ever had. It was dry, hard and not particularly tasty. Quite pricey too. Only the sambal chilli was nice. I think not just the ayam pang gang, but the chef also pang gang (stop work). Price: $5.50 (minus 50c without rice, add 30c for takeaway)
