Haven’t been back to Pasta Brava for ages. Quality is still the same as I remembered it to be. Aglio Olio is the standard pasta dish that I would order at any Italian restaurant usually. The Aglio Olio here did not fail, though some people might be shocked by how much olive oil the pasta was being soaked in. However the taste of the dish is very balanced and they are very generous with their clams. I would order this again next time I’m here.

Another pasta dish from Pasta Brava is none other than the seafood spaghetti tossed with fresh squid ink. A staple for most Italian pasta places, the salty squid ink intertwines with each spaghetti, giving it a jet black gothic aesthetic. I'll say Pasta Brava's take is pretty good, though honestly, nothing could beat their saffron cream.

Being a huge lover of pasta, I'm always on the look-out for true handmade Italian variations of the dish. One such place that offers amazing pasta is none other than Pasta Brava.

The pasta dish to try is none other than the Stracci Ai Gamberi E Capesante. Fresh saffron cream paired with delicious seafood, you just can't miss the iconic bright orange hue of the dish. The saffron cream sauce was a first for me and it was amazing, clinging to the flat long strips of homemade pasta that brought it to a whole new level. I'll definitely head back for more and coupled with Burpple's 1-for-1, it's a steal.

Changed the parpadelle to rigatoni and it tasted absolutely fantastic. It portion was satisfying and generous. The duck ragu went well with rigatoni and the staff were really friendly to make sure your orders came timely.

As part of the Burpple beyond set, I chose this limoncello cake with key lime mousse. Well it didn’t look that appealing but it tasted surprisingly nice! Definitely worth a try!

Chose Burpple beyond 1-for-1 set at a fixed price of $80++, for your choice of soup, pasta (any one of the menu below $28) and dessert (anything but lava cake). Food was of good quality, especially the homemade pasta and dessert, and their coffee is one of the best I’ve had in Singapore. However, the offer was not quite a 1-for-1: the three items would maximally add up to a value of ~$57, yet the set was charged at $80++. Well regardless, still good value I would say! Will come back again
