This was quite a stunner. The pumpkin pasta had such a clean tasting sweetness inside, contrasted with the predominantly sweet sauce with just a hint of savouriness. Damn good if youre ok with a main that has no meat. It's quite jelak thats why the 8 pieces is actl filling enough

liked the complex flavour from capsicums in the sauce, but felt that it was slightly watered down. Prawns were crunchy but scallop halves were meh

Sweet enough and quite chocolatey, i enjoyed it despite the fact that it isnt as thick as i would have liked

Nice tang, acidity and seafood umami, but for its price, really q average

My date ordered the ravioli con carne di manzo al gorgonzola — ravioli stuffed with minced beef, slattered in cheese sauce. The noodles were silky and complemented the palatable and creamy base it came with. The sauce is lovely, but a little heavy on the salt.

I got the al ragu d’ anatra e funghi (duck ragout), served originally with papardelle but I swapped it out for rigatoni. The noodles were al dente, which was a tad too firm for my liking. The duck gave a nice bite to the otherwise uninspiring dish.

Ambience was great, very cosy and intimate!

Both dishes were priced at $27.80 each.

Haven’t been back to Pasta Brava for ages. Quality is still the same as I remembered it to be. Aglio Olio is the standard pasta dish that I would order at any Italian restaurant usually. The Aglio Olio here did not fail, though some people might be shocked by how much olive oil the pasta was being soaked in. However the taste of the dish is very balanced and they are very generous with their clams. I would order this again next time I’m here.
