From the Burpple community

We were quite amused by the dish as the pasta was shaped like thick fat Maggi mee. With their secret pepper mix, every bite packs a peppery punch with a light truffle taste. It was nice but we felt that the pepper could be toned down since it sort of overpowered both the truffle and the cheese. That being said, the pasta texture was good and Al dente. We would definitely get some add ons for the pasta next time if we were to get this again as it tasted a bit monotonous after a while. For $22.90, we think that there are definitely better pasta out there (that we don't need to add on ingredients), but with burrple beyond, it's definitely worth a try! But a plus point is that there's no service charge. Note that this place is popular and pretty small and reservations are highly recommended.

We saw that there was vodka in the list of ingredients and we immediately decided that the dish was a must-try since it sounded unique. However, there is no need to worry if you are not a fan of alcohol because the vodka was really mild and almost invisible to the tongue and this was a little disappointing to us.

Nonetheless, the pasta dish was still great on the overall as it is made with a base containing tomatoes and chilli and it was really rich. We slurped up almost every single drop of the pasta sauce. For the noodles, we ordered spaghetti and it was served to us el dente and we really loved that texture. There was a very generous serving of bacon as well and if you dislike the meaty taste, you can change the bacon to other things such as mushrooms too!

The dish costs $18.90 but the highlight is the fact that Pasta & Co is on Burpple Beyond so you will have access to one-for-one vouchers. Hence, do remember to use them if you are on Burpple Beyond! Aside from that, do make a reservation because the restaurant is really popular and it was full even on a Wednesday night!

with 1 for 1, it’s about $20 ish for 2 ppl! Their full portion is still bit smaller but the pasta is definitely quality!

When someone mentions Fortune Center, usually the first thing that comes to your mind will be either Japanese Izakaya or vegetarian food. Least you’ll expect is a handmade pasta place there.

It is a pretty modernized and chic cafe. In contrast to the stalls there, price is also definitely on the higher end. What you’re paying for is definitely for the handmade and quality stuff.

Pasta are handmade, so there’s a nice al dente chewiness to it as opposed to hard texture. There’s also a variety of pasta flavors to choose from such as Roasted Capsicum spaghetti, beetroot fusilli, Pumpkin Rigatoni, Squid Ink Tagliatelle whereby flavors may changes from time to time.

I like how their flavors are bold and rich yet not gelard. If you like truffle and something creamy, go for their Truffle Cacio E Pepe. If you like something more hearty, tomato base, with a slight roasted kind of flavors and want to try something uncommon, can go for their Lamb Merguez.

Portions that you see here are tasting portions and it ranges from $14-$19.

The place was quite easy to locate, next to the escalator. The place is pretty small but there is an area where you can dine outside.

Ordered:
🧀🥗Burratina Salad - $16.90 - in the description it was stated mixed salad but it came all kale… of which we don’t eat… there were dollops of purée which was sad and pathetic… perhaps it’s just for deco? ⭐️5/10

🧀Mozzarella sticks- $7 - nothing much to talk about.. normal fried food ⭐️ 5/10

🍗Sous Vide Crispy Thigh - $7 - the meat was not marinated. Skip this as you can totally cook it yourself without the need to souv vide. ⭐️ 0/10

🍝Cacio E Pepe - $18.90 - I felt that the pepper was too overpowering ⭐️ 3/10

🍝Mentaiko - $23.90 - my friend felt that it was too salty but I thought was not bad. ⭐️ 7/10

Overall, it’s just another hit & miss restaurant.

Able to choose the type of spaghetti but only full portion available for Burpple. Love the mentaiko pasta w many roe.
