Cant believe such a small stall selling bakes this expensive. I would rather purchase from more famed bakeries nearby such as Pullman, So Good, Gokoku, etc. DJ bakery is even more value for money and fresh. The staff at Woo is also always not around.

A very small bakery at Everton Park, with just a display shelf at the shopfront.

Depends on what they baked for the day, you may find this lemon cake which I personally loved it a lot.

Great texture with strong lemon taste in every bites.

Here are some choux from @patissierwoo that I had last week to start the cny feasting. We got genmaicha, pistachio and goma ones. They were yummy with light choux pastry and smooth cream and I would have liked them if they were more crispy on the outside 😋

Had visited one of Patissier Woo’s recent openings at SkyParc @ Dawson (Blk 94A Dawson Road) for their Choux not too long ago, though I never eventually got around to posting about them (got a little lazy on my end; oops 🙊 — do check them out though, especially the Earl Grey ones that are especially fragrant!). Found myself eventually winding up at their Everton Park outlet on a day where I was around Outram Park; came across a post on their Instagram page mentioning about Vanilla Bean Caneles being available at both their Everton Park and SkyParc @ Dawson outlets, and new that I have to head down for it.

I made my visit somewhere in the early afternoon and I was pretty lucky to have snagged up the last remaining Vanilla Bean Canele that is available at the Everton Park outlet. Retailing at $4.50 for one, the Vanilla Bean Canele is pretty huge. Taking a bit into the canele, I found myself being impressed by how their variant is texturally. Whilst most Caneles are either pretty crisp to the point of being crunchy on the exterior with a soft inside or that they are soft and cakey in entirety (also not the type that I usually prefer), this one strikes a balance in between the two. The Vanilla Bean Canele here is lightly crisp on the exterior, though doesn’t carry that hard crunch that most will bring; all that while the interior is all soft and Kueh-like — sufficiently moist whilst carrying an evident hint of vanilla that perfumes the tastebuds. Probably one that I would lay my hands on if I were to walk past any of their outlets and see one lying around in the display shelf.

Patissier Woo may have started as more of an online baker in the past with their Jalan Jurong Kechil branch previously, but they have since expanded their operations with takeaway macarons, cakes, choux puff in their two new outlets at SkyParc @ Dawson and Everton Park, as well as house-churned gelato exclusively available at SkyParc @ Dawson. Whilst I have only tried a limited selection of items pretty recently, it is interesting to see how they have grown from that small operation to what they have become now. Looking forward to try more creations from them soon!
