Was looking for a quiet place for some me time and found this perfect spot during lunch on a Wednesday. Ordered the Buddha Bowl from the lunch set menu, and it came with a cup of beef and tomato soup. Presentation was amazing, and ingredients were fresh but I felt so tired trying to get through it. Firstly, the avocado was halved but served with its skin still intact. I had to ask for a side plate to remove its skin and cut the avocado into smaller bite-sized pieces. Secondly, the bright red and yellow peppers were cut into quarters (far from the usual cubes). Similarly, I cut them into smaller pieces on the side plate I asked for. Finally, I gave up when it came to the long strips of cucumber sticks and just ate them separately.

Basically, I felt like I was served a fixed set of fresh ingredients to prepare a DIY salad. The person who prepared this dish has either never eaten a salad or thinks that he’s serving a rabbit. Considering how it’s a lunch option, more thought should be put into making it quick and convenient to consume. All in all, it was $20.80+ for the fresh ingredients and laid-back ambience. Might return to try the burgers or sandwiches.

Bread was fluffy and patty was not too dry, but th burgers price ranges around high $20-$30. A bit on the high side.

Mt. Fuji (9.00) pretty good sponge, the frosting was nice, dont know what layers of puff pastry is doing inside the cake 3.75/5

Latte (7 00)-nothing much to write about

A more high end kind of cafe. Quite fancy, nice service, foods were not extraordinary.

Swiss bacon cheese burger (19.80 for small) patty was still a bit pinked inside, cooked nicely though a bit dry. I do like bun and tomato, lettuce, etc were placed outside of tje burger. Not sure where the bacon is. Decent 3.5/5

Trying the avocado burger made me famished and it got me trying the promo yuzu burger with sweet potato fries. It was not as great as I hoped. The yuzu was really strong but the charr on the chicken was right. Still though, the yuzu took over the wheel which the chicken was driving and strode away. The bread was the same, but had much more flavour. The fries were the best, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Not everything I wanted but something I will recommend to others.

The avocado was extremely fresh. I loved the patty, but the bread is very chewy and the outer covering of the bread tastes like paper. The fries are still delicious and crispy. It was nice that they separated the vegies and that they got a paper bag so we won't get our hands dirty. One of the top 3 burgers in Singapore for me.
