âNgo Hiangâ (Five spice pork roll) Penang version: meat (minced pork & prawn) & vegetable rolled in bean curd skin. We enjoy this dish the most compared to the other 2 dishes we have here. It is moist & aromatic. Served with cucumber, fried tofu and 2 types of sauce: sweet chilli and dark sauce.

The dish is decent though not as strong wok hei as some other places. We just wish the portion to match up the price tag. We request no hum and got what we wish. đ¤
Came to check out this place before embarking on a trip as itâs got a raving review on Google and trip advisor.
The broth of Penang Assam laksa contains sardine, ginger flower, laksa leaves, Assam (tamarind), fermented shrimp paste, garlic galangal, turmeric, lemongrass but we still donât feel that itâs in the same league as the original version we tried just yet đ¤
A must try dish is their curry white noodle. Awesome soup, lots of chicken, big portion, nyammmđ¤¤. Char kway teow also good. But i feel the NEX outlet is better.
I went for this simply bcos it was Julyâs special dish. I like cheese and I like CKT, but this was not my style. Honestly I didnât enjoy it at all. The cheese and CKT didnât gel well together, causing the taste to be very disjointed. Also, the amt of cheese was so little, not at all like the promotional flyer. Which in this case, actually turned out to be a blessing.
Piqued by the attention grabbing title of the dish, I decided I must have it. Bits of chopped up whole salted egg and crab meat are mixed into an enjoyable but ultimately rather average char kway teow. The noticeable absence of lard(which is haram in my books) and weakness of wok hei are what let it down somewhat.
