Had quite an alright queue but the ingredients are so generous and rich. Love the taste of it all together

Lor Mee with fried fish nuggets, fried bean curd skin, braised pork, braised egg and ngoh hiang. Love the passion this mother and son team is whipping up bowls of rich braised gravy, their dedication to details in ingredients and generous all you can add garlic, chili and cilantro. The gravy may not be as good as 新美香 in Old Airport but bears the other more popular stall in Amoy Street Food Centre.

This seem to be a new stall with an eye-catching stall signage - haven't been to Amoy Market for a while. Was there in the evening and the nice hawker auntie was so apologetic there there were no more fried fish. Instead, she offered her separately set aside braised pork 卤肉 (already packed in her own take away bag) to me, the whole lot of them. It was a generous bowl and trust me it taste better than the other famous Lor Mee in this same complex. The soy braised hard boiled egg was perfectly done with a creamy core and super QQ exterior. The best part about Lor Mee is you get to add the garlic, chili and black vinegar to the level that best suit you. To me, I want it all! Probably the only thing missing is some Chinese parsley... but at 7pm at Amoy, you can't ask for more.

This "liao" many many lor mee would be good! 😋 Fried Fish Lor Mee ($4) from Penang Kitchen, Amoy Street Food Center. I realised many lor mee stores in Amoy, and didn't know which on was good. Settled for this store cause I was too hungry 😂 Thick yellow noodles splashed with that starchy thick gravy, topped with wu xiang, pork belly, egg, fried fish and special crisp that was really fragrant when you mixed in with the gravy.
In addition, their condiments are added by yourself, which mean as much chili, minced garlic or vinegar as you like!
