One of my fav dishes at this buffet was the salted egg chicken but there are so many dishes that are worth trying here and for the price of about $30 it’s so worth it. The head chef is from Penang and even sources his ingredients from there making sure everything is as authentic as possible. The salted egg chicken is slightly sweet but well balanced out with the savory salted egg sauce. The chicken is crispy on the outside but tender on the inside making it so so addictive. The flavor of the curry leaves come through nicely as well.

Other dishes worth trying: Kueh Pie Tee, Satay, Lorbak, Beef Rendang, Nasi Lemak, Prawn noodle

Kueh salat was quite average. 1st time eating kueh Tai Tai with kaya. Not too bad. Kueh was salty and kaya was sweet. I usually don’t like this combi but this one was acceptable, cos kaya was not very sweet.

Kueh lapis was ok only. Kueh kosui was lovely. The caramelized sugar taste was smoky and deep. But it was not sweet. I loved it. Abok abok sago was so rich and creamy it melted in my mouth.

Barley was too sweet. I didn’t like it. Pulut hitam was perfect. If the coconut milk was coconut cream, it would be unbelievable. Ask for some salt to sprinkle in.

Spotted these when I was going to pay the bill. Rushed back to my table so I could have some before I leave. Prawn paste taste was barely there so it wasn’t too salty.

Chicken satay was good. Well marinated. Each batch was promptly snatched up when they were replenished. Peanut sauce was savory with a hint of sweet. Nice. I usually don’t go for spring rolls but I really liked this. It tasted rustic and simple, and was very crispy. I ate 2, which was a first for me at a buffet.
