Apart from its rather steep price and unappealing looks, this actually taste pretty alright. It had the basic creamy coconut milk in shaved ice, topped with not so greenish pandan jelly, faded away colourless crunchy mushy red bean and a ladle of palm sugar. The red bean also increases the sweetness for Chendul.
Ice melted quite fast so it turned into coconut milk soup quickly but good thing was the icy chillness retains.🤣 Very good for people who sweat easily like me to help cool me down.
Tho it doesn't taste nor resembles the one I had in Penang, this was still satisfying as the serving portion was big.
