From the Burpple community

We tried the beef rendang risotto and salted egg yolk soft shell crab pasta.

Both were huge portions that were extremely filling. The food was decent for its price. They even had a squid game challenge (dalgona candy) where you can get free ice cream for completing it.

Tom Yum pasta was pretty decent and packed a spicy kick. The ingredients were fresh!

This dish was nothing extraordinary but still a fulfilling meal.

This was superb. The perfect ratio of pasta to soft-shell crab. Sauce was fragrant without being too salty so we didn’t get too jelak by the end of the meal. Super yummy, and would go back there to have it again even without burpple one-for-one. A definite must try!

Service crew was also super friendly. Keep up the good work, team!

Overall - 7/10

Ambience + service - 8/10
Food - 6/10

Tenderloin Steak - 6/10
Asked for medium and steak came well done. Salad was soggy and chimichurri sauce was not great.

Salted egg crab pasta - 6/10
Sauce was bland. Saving grace was the crab, which was too salty to be eaten on its own.

Would not come back without a 1 for 1 deal.

Prawn laksa pasta ($16.90) 🦐 8/10

Don't let that picture fool you -- it's not a small portion, it's just a big plate! And boy does this pretty plate of pasta pack a punch! (Say that 3 times fast 😂) Alhough each spoonful was really spicy, I kept coming back for more because of the tasty laksa sauce and fresh prawns!

Squid ink curry pasta ($16.90) 🦑 7/10

This pasta wasn't as spicy, which was good, but wasn't quite as flavourful as the laksa. It came with a squid head on it -- reasonably fresh, too.

Truffle fries ($8.90) 🍟 9/10

I actually really enjoyed the crispy fries here! Each fry was well-coated with parmesan, unlike the cafes that just sprinkle dry shreds of fries on top.

But overall the service could improve because it was really slow and the waiter got my order wrong bc "the computer send the order to the kitchen alr" 👀

Delightful atmosphere and the menu had a selection of pasta to white meats and red meats. My friend and I opted for the Barramundi and chimichurri which was served on a bed of baby potatoes and a side of asparagus. We really enjoyed our mains despite the fact that we wanted to cut our carbs. Fish was fresh and skin was crispy. We also got two mock-tails, the onde onde and a mojito. Service crew were friendly and helpful. Will definitely return again!
