I have featured Pete’s Place tiramisu as the best tiramisu ( in my opinion ) but for days when tiramisu isn’t my cup of tea , I am Glad that the plethora of desserts available at Pete’s place’s lunch buffet / weekend brunch always has something for me.

Pete’s Place has such high quality homemade desserts - I simply wouldn’t go anywhere else - I am pretty much trapped 🥰

I have tried the desserts from all across the dessert section of hotel buffets and sad to say, other than the rise at MBS and Pete’s Place - most don’t meet the passing mark.

Featuring here is the the passionfruit bombalini - it’s like a tender doughnut filled with real passionfruit purée mixed into a light cream . The flavours just explode with every bite .

Much commendable is also the apricot crostata with a tart apricot topping balanced off with a crisp and buttery base - so sinful but so good .

The profiteroles were also outstanding . Drenched with a high quality chocolate and then filled with custard cream .

Every piece of dessert is just so lovingly made -

For bread lovers .....

My friends can’t understand why I would go to a buffet and eat bread .

But a nicely baked bread is my Best Friend and breads are my staple diet. I can eat them all day , Everyday .

These beautifully baked loaves of breads are from the lunch buffet at Pete’s .

Don’t they look like 4 friends basking in the sun ? So cute ....

Pete’s Place serves up a nice variety of bread - from their sundried focaccia to their corn bread and sunflower seed wholemeal and chia seed cranberry not forgetting the simple ole ciabatta and baguette. And for those of you who prefer more crunch, their breadsticks are fresh and crisp .

Adorn your breads With their interesting range of sundried tomato or herb butter .

Italian lunch buffet

What better way to relax and spend time with family than to have a slow lunch at Pete’s Place ?

Probably the most value for money Italian lunch buffet with a whole array of high quality homemade breads , soups , salad bar , choice cuts of fish and meats , pastas and pizzas .

As if that was not enough - the variety of desserts served is good enough for a dessert buffet 😂.

I like how Pete’s Place desserts are all home made - you get a rotation of ricotta cheese tart, tiramisu , flourless chocolate cake , Apple pie , Apple crumble , polenta cake , rhubarb crumble , cherry tart , creme brûlée , fresh cut fruits etc - no less than 4 varieties are served at each lunch buffet .

Easily the best pizza I have eaten in a long time .. ..

The right crispy and chewy balance that a pizza should have , a strong but not overpowering truffle cream sauce and roasted chicken and mushrooms adorned with truffle oil .

Nicely put together risotto cooked just right with a velvety saffron Sauce.

Generously adorned with fresh prawns and topped with freshly grated parmesan cheese for a nice zing 🤗.

Best for sharing 🐥 before just a few mouthfuls can make you quite full ... ....

Feast to your heart's content with the Full Italian Lunch Buffet ($40), from made-to-order wood-fired oven pizzas to freshly baked breads. Burppler MichelleLIN T recommends the Capricciosa Pizza – think fresh mushrooms, artichokes and forest ham on a chewy yet crusty base. Desserts here are are stellar as well, such as the Chocolate Fondant with Cherries and the Ricotta Cheese Tart.
