Itās beginning to feel a lot like Christmas ....
Apples and cinnamon and buttery crumbs ....
One of my favourite desserts from Peteās Place.
Moist and crumbly and crusty at the same time.
Peteās Place lunch buffet
These are the best molten deep dark chocolate cakes I have eaten.
Rich dark chocolate with a velvety smooth cake texture .
No flowy centre but more like a rich chocolatey paste like centre which works very well for me .
Best part of all ?
Itās not too sweet at all - so for all of you dark chocolate lovers.
Iāve been coming here for years and I enjoy myself each time. Located in the basement of Grand Hyatt, its secretive charm makes it even more cosy. Itās something about the dark setting, bistro style table cloths and warm hospitality that I just know Iām going to have a good time the moment I walk through the doors.
I always go for Pasta as Iām a sucker for pasta š¤·š»āāļø what I like is that they do have a salad bar as well which serves pretty decent stuff and the bread bar is complimentary with any order. My favorite spreads are the garlic pesto and ripen tomatoes!
I feel itās worth it if you go for the Set Menu that comes with any starter, any main and any dessert. As I usually go for the Spaghetti Cioppino that comes with half main lobster ($44) the set is worth it! Itās divine by the way.
Would definitely recommend anyone who wants a good Italian meal in town.
Sundays are meant for brunch !
Had a lovely brunch buffet with mummy - some Mother Daughter time with great food and great ambience.
Great pizzas prepared with a traditional oven . Well balanced between being crisp and slightly chewy.
Peteās Place reminds one of my favourite Italian places because it holds so many good memories .
The world may change but Peteās Place remains unchanged .
I have featured Peteās Place tiramisu as the best tiramisu ( in my opinion ) but for days when tiramisu isnāt my cup of tea , I am Glad that the plethora of desserts available at Peteās placeās lunch buffet / weekend brunch always has something for me.
Peteās Place has such high quality homemade desserts - I simply wouldnāt go anywhere else - I am pretty much trapped š„°
I have tried the desserts from all across the dessert section of hotel buffets and sad to say, other than the rise at MBS and Peteās Place - most donāt meet the passing mark.
Featuring here is the the passionfruit bombalini - itās like a tender doughnut filled with real passionfruit purĆ©e mixed into a light cream . The flavours just explode with every bite .
Much commendable is also the apricot crostata with a tart apricot topping balanced off with a crisp and buttery base - so sinful but so good .
The profiteroles were also outstanding . Drenched with a high quality chocolate and then filled with custard cream .
Every piece of dessert is just so lovingly made -
10/10
For bread lovers .....
My friends canāt understand why I would go to a buffet and eat bread .
But a nicely baked bread is my Best Friend and breads are my staple diet. I can eat them all day , Everyday .
These beautifully baked loaves of breads are from the lunch buffet at Peteās .
Donāt they look like 4 friends basking in the sun ? So cute ....
Peteās Place serves up a nice variety of bread - from their sundried focaccia to their corn bread and sunflower seed wholemeal and chia seed cranberry not forgetting the simple ole ciabatta and baguette. And for those of you who prefer more crunch, their breadsticks are fresh and crisp .
Adorn your breads With their interesting range of sundried tomato or herb butter .
