[CLOSED] Phat Cat Laundry

So cute. Besides the lovey ducky, this cocktail uses Ron Abuelo Anejo rum with a variety of juices -mango, orange, lime juice, and infused with exotic shrub and caramel syrup. I believe no real ducks were used in the drink.

The menu also playfully stated "quack for a discount", I didn't try it so I don't know how much discount you'll get. What I did was better - I used my @getchug membership and redeemed it as my free drink of the day.

Light on the alcohol, heavy on the sweetness. This pretty much tasted like a canned fizzy apple drink.

😉 // **NEW** on the expanded Asian fusion menu at @PhatCatLaundry is the {Halo-halo Sundae} ~ ube ice cream, coconut ice cream, nate de coco, jackfruit, palm nuts, cornflakes (which were the deal-breaker in this eqn) and quinessential evaporated milk.

A neat rendition of the over-excessive Filipino dessert drink and much more balanced in terms of sweetness than the norm. So much love. Excuse me, I think I'm going to need a minute here.

The gargantuan pork knuckle had the oft-fatty and juicily moist tenderness of a dragon-boater's bicep, and shed its layers with the relaxed effortlessness of duck confit...or the above-mentioned dragon-boater if he happens to be a member of any dragonboat team with a name involving an object of impalement. 3.8/5

Mango Sticky Rice 🍸: Russian Vodka infused with Thai Jasmine Rice, Coconut Flakes infused with Mauritius White Rum, Mango Puree, Lemon Juice, Coconut Milk.

A refreshing cocktail that was a joy to drink. The sourness of the lemon juice balanced the sweetness of the Mango. The coconut milk is served on the side - taste the cocktail on its own, then add the coconut milk to your desired taste. Thumbs up for that! (I added all of the milk 😇)

Important Note: If you're sitting next to the fan, your coconut flakes WILL fly all over the place. Poor waiter apologised & got me a new leaf with new flakes. It's ok dude, it's not your fault..

The other cocktail on the bottom right - Black Tea Bergamot 🍸: Earl Grey Crème Gin, Bergamot, Vanilla. A pleasant drink with a creamy, strong tea taste. Not too sweet.
