10 bucks, slice fish with porridge. quite a queue but it's worthy. Juicy fish and tasty soup base.

$12 for this bowl + $0.50 for the rice. Definitely not cheap. The fish quite thick slices and shiok. Prawns were big and juicy. But I did not particularly enjoy the soup cos it was more of prawn than fish... my companions enjoyed it tho! Might be a personal preference. Would prefer if there’s more soup or refills too!

Haven’t been back to Piao Ji in quite a while and was kinda disappointed that the portion seemed to have shrunk? Broth’s still as flavourful and fish slices were still super fresh, but serving for both could have been more generous.

The queue for piao ji was insane and being a typical Singaporean obviously I had to queue cuz I’m kpo plus I love fish soups! Their food certainly did not disappoint as it easily earns the top few spots for fish soup on my list😱 Must try when you’re in the area! Didn’t expect the busy stall in the cbd district to operate on a weekend more ever on a PH. Oh well lucky me lucky tummy 😬
• Fish and Prawn Soup - Large ($15)

Fish Head Soup costs $10 which the porridge I had opted for the medium $12. Note that it’s always a long queue with minimum wait time of at least 30mins on a good day with short queue.

Fish Head is lightly deep fried and vegetables was the more expensive Tang-Oh. We noticed the soup base color differs between the 2 with the fish and prawn porridge being lighter and clearer. Both tasted fresh and delicious. Prawns were large sized and cooked just right with very springly texture.

It wasn't cheap okay. $7 + 50 cents for rice. Initially wanted to try the pomfret soup, but prices have risen to $12!! This soup was light. The sauce was more of soy sauce sourish taste (do add more chilli if u want it to be spicy). Fish was fresh. But hmm I think once is enough for us. We have had better fish soup elsewhere. A pity we can't try Han Kee fish soup, the more famous one, which is only open during wkday lunch. can only try it on my next weekday leave day.. #burpple #burpplesg
