Smoked salmon & eggs benedict on miso waffle: special and I kinda like the combination of it. The only downside was the egg yolk was well cooked, not a benedict as expected $14.90

The Manuka: buttermilk with plain yogurt and honeycomb gelato. Presentation was good. Would prefer that they improve the texture of the waffles. Waffles broke into upper n lower parts easily upon cutting. $16.90

Aloe and lychee cooler $6.50: taste like plain soda water.

Sweet potato latte $6.50: purple sweet potato drink... Emmm... Very special taste. >

Super crispy waffles. Changed the ice cream to Salted caramel and Swiss chocolate

Yoghurt gelato was changed to Rocky Road and Swiss Chocolate. Toppings added were colored pebbles and muesli bar. Waffles were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. 👍 Ice cream was good. Not much choice of flavors, but that's OK. Ambience was good and staff was friendly and helpful. However, waiting time was a little long as it was crowded on the weekend. Overall a good experience.

Pick me up cafe is slightly further off in parkland green compared to the first few restaurant and bar facing the sea. It's less crowded compared to the bars, just what we wanted. The big brekkie is too big, can't even fit into the picture, with toasts, two egg Benedictus, salad, sautéed mushrooms, sausage, ham, and baked beans. Typical cafe price, about $17 (I can't recall the exact amount but it's around there). The cafe comes with baby chairs and also some simple rocking toys at the shop front. Not too bad for us with baby.

I am such a sucker for all things honey so I was pleased as punch the staff allowed me to switch the default Greek Yogurt gelato in "The Manuka" waffle concoction to their Manuka Honey flavour instead. Loved the resulting overload, especially after the honeycomb joined the party.
I must commend the service crew on the presentation of this dessert - those strawberries and bananas were very neatly cut and arranged. So although the waffle itself wasn't exactly the best I've had, all the little extras--including that delicious piece of caramelised almond slice crisp and fresh mint leaf stuck on the top--made this special.

Served on a cast iron pan, here's the Caramelized Banana French Toast from @pickmeupcafe. Can you spot any familiar faces in the background? #nofilter
