[ORCHARD, SINGAPORE] I think I've been to @picolino.sg at least 6 times, and this time their food just got even more worth it with their all day set menu from just $17.90!
Their set menu comes with a starter, either a 9 inch pizza ($17.90), pasta ($19.90) or main ($27.90), a dessert and a drink. As for starters, you need to get their Caesar Salad ๐ฅ omg. I'm not a salad person, but I found myself wolfing down the bowl in no time. Very fresh and balanced, it was slightly cheesy too and I liked the crispy parma ham.
We saw 2 Italians beside ordering a pizza each so we had to too ๐คญ their new Salmon Mentaiko pizza definitely delivered, with a generous rich amount of mentaiko, salmon and ikura. The pizza crust is addictive as well, as it was crispy on the edges and chewy within.
As for mains, the Grilled NZ grass-fed Striploin ๐ฅฉ was surprisingly tender, with an interesting herb sauce to pair with it. Although the doneness was just slightly below how I would prefer it, it was a very decent steak for the price.
As for desserts you MUST get their tiramisu. I really think this is the top 3 I've had. It was very moist, aromatic, chocolatey and perfect with the alcoholic cream provided. Very balanced and not too sweet.
With the all day set I really think you are getting your money's worth. Definitely coming back to have this set again! ๐ Note that this set is only available between Mon-Thurs.

guys ๐ญ i freaking knocked over my glass of passionfruit mimosa & not only did they clean it up for me they made me a whole new glass at no charge ๐ฅบ okie but that aside, we had the burrata pesto pizza which had such a CRISP base & crust that was rly so easy to eat. rly big piece of burrata too so every slice of pizza has sufficient cheese~
the bacon gnocci was also rly yummy paired w the tobacco sauce! the beef pasta was not bad - the beef was chunky & substantial although i wasn't a fan of the pasta texture.
regardless, suchhhh a good meal w good service, good ambience! w a 25% discount off total bill, we saved $24 & paid $86 for everything on the table (ps the pizza was quite huge)
Came by with a group of friends and got to use 3 deals on Burpple which made this meal so worth! The food itself is pretty good - we got the Caesar Salad ($12) and Sweet Potato Fries ($12) to start and both of them were so delicious and highly addictive, really recommend! For pasta, we chose the Bacon Gnocchi ($24) and Seafood Aglio Olio ($24). Personally, I did not prefer the doughiness of the gnocchi but to each their own right? Aglio olio was decent, not outstanding, but I did appreciate the freshness and plumpness of the shrimp and squid. As for the pizza, we had the Hawaiian ($23) and Four Cheese ($23). Both were alright, couldn't quite remember how they tasted after but I'm not really a fan of pizza so don't take my word for it. Overall, with Burpple, this made for a value-for-money meal!
[ORCHARD, SINGAPORE] These photos really don't do justice to how much we loved both dishes we ordered! I have had @picolino.sg a few times and these 2 dishes really don't go wrong.
Cacio E Pepe ($19) is a simple pasta dish that is hard to do very well, but Picolino nailed it with their rendition. The Malfade pasta was the right choice, catching cheese and pepper well at every grove. It was al dente and we loved the chewy texture! The cheese pepper sauce itself was GLORIOUS. It was flavourful but not too intense, and the cheese was the right amount as it wasn't too cloying. The fried egg was a nice touch, with gooey yolk to add extra richness.
I also finally tried the Picolino's Burrata Pizza ($28) and I was ADDICTED. The pesto sauce was really garlicky and the tomato sauce further accentuated the fresh flavour from this pizza. The crust at the bottom was surprisingly crispy, although it seemed soaked with all the sauces. The cherry on top is the burrata cheese, which added extra richness!
After dining at picolino a couple of times, I feel like their dishes can be a big hit or a miss sometimes, but these 2 dishes will definitely make your belly happy. Can't wait to be back to eat these 2 again ๐คฃ
