Kimbap ($6.90)
consisted a lot of ingredients inside the sushi. still ok but average taste for kimbap.
Korean Ramen ($5.90)
Bibimbap (Chicken) ($8.90)
hmmmm adding sauce is self service and they didn't sauce directly into bibimbap. the rice on the bottom of the bowl is not crispy enough tbh.
Rooftop garden korean food dining experience at @pinkcandy.sg !
They are part of the hawker centre, so you will have to stand around and hover over ppl who are about to leave to get your seats.
Besides the nice al fresco dining vibes with nice sunset view, I was pleasantly surprised by the food! I had actually lowered my expectations because I read some negative/average reviews for some particular items.
Ginseng Chicken Noodle Soup ($29.90): This contains half a chicken, and is good for 2-3 pax! We were actually quite surprised that there was UDON noodles in it! (Because the signboard was blocked by the bowls so we thought it was only ginseng chicken soup lol!) The soup contained tender soft chicken, dumplings, mushrooms, Tteok-bokki and beancurd! Oh, we were also surprised that it was served hot pot style! We thought it would just be in a stainless steel bowl. The hot pot style serving kept the soup pipping hot, so it was super delicious!
Seafood tofu soup ($12.90): This came with 2-3 fresh prawns, soft jiggly tofu, some clams and squid! The Sundubu-jjigae soup base was so good! This comes with a bowl of irce
Soy Sauce Chicken Wings ($14.90): 9 pieces, but they actually mean 4.5 wings if you get what i mean. This was quite nice, crispy batter and just at the right marination! (This was so much better than some other chicken wings from a famed korean stall in the aljunied mrt area which had thick batter that felt like it was refried many times!)
The bill amounted up to almost $60 for a 4 pax portion (plus additional order of 2 plain rice). If there is only one things that you can order, I will strongly recommend to try the ginseng chicken noodle soup stew!!
They also advertise themselves as serving korea homemade style food with NO MSG! Which I turned out to be quite true, as we were not super thirsty after the meal!

The pancake was unfortunately mediocre, it was thick and doughy, lacking the familiar crunch. A pity that there wasn’t that many ingredients as well.
