Kinda disappointed. Skewers came dripping but lamb chops and beef kebab weren't juicy. Lamb had no lamb flavour. Only chicken kebab was good, very close to pandan chicken. Saffron rice and greens were negligible.

An aesthetically-wow dish comprising chicken kebab, lamb chops and beef kebab, this is an obvious choice for first-timers or people who likes variety. However, I would advise against because the only tasty component here is the tender and flavoursome chicken kebab - the lamb chops and beef kebab are on the tougher side so you don't really get to enjoy the spice-infused meat. The saffron rice is decent, but the aromatic rice that came with the Egyptian Fish Singary was better.

That's a hefty price to pay for a dish, but boy this is good stuff. Premium pricing aside, this dish is pretty humble - oven-baked deboned whole red snapper topped with simple ingredients like onions, carrots and baby shrimps. It's nothing over-the-top, just downright delicious and hearty as the fish is fresh and the earthy spices on point. It also pairs really well with their chilli and aromatic basmati rice.

Located in low-key Zhongshan Mall, this 30-seater doles out seriously delicious Middle Eastern and Mediterranean fare. Burppler Kelly Wong describes the juicy, olive oil-marinated Shish Taouk ($17.90) with saffron basmati rice to be one of the best she's ever had. Order also the addictive Hummus Kawerma ($9.90, topped with minced beef) to share.

Took a spoonful of this amazing dish and am super delighted with it. Creamy, milky and hearty tea break snack all rolled up on one dish, served to warm anyone’s heart. A nostalgic aroma fills my heart as it reminds me of the wholesome milk filled baby foods. With each spoonful, you get the smooth cream with crunchy nuts and dates. A great tea break for sure.

Tucked away at a corner in Zhongshan Mall, this restaurant couldn’t be more obscure. I’m sharing it because we had such a great experience there that it would be a waste not to discover this place! That Shish Taouk ($17.90) - What sorcery is it. Easily one of the best chicken kebabs I’ve ever eaten. The chicken cubes were marinated with a olive oil, aromatic spices and were so, so tender. They were just incredible. Served with a side of saffron rice.
