A hidden small cafe on the 1st floor of The Zhongshan Building. Taking the staircase leading up to No.80 and you will find it.

You can choose either indoor in front of the counter, or outdoor seat behind the door.

A good place to chill and rest. There’s also a art gallery behind for you to check it out.

Yes, finally a place serving doughnuts!!!

Great place to chill and just forget about the world.

This has always been one of my favourite cafes, if only it was a little nearer. Despite its distance, I still try to visit as often as I can just because coffee is good, vibes are chill and the people are awfully sweet. This particular visit was for all of the above, plus the pictured sandwich.

The bread is toasted and pressed to an extremely thin, crust-like texture. Slabbed on with gooey cheese (presumably mozza) and delightfully comforting pulled curry chicken, it’s a bite of heaven. A big part of its merit is also thanks to the curry flavours, light and mildly spicy, it helps cut through the rich cheese component.

A quite hidden little coffee spot in city of Kl. Limited seat available, suitable when you need some quite moment by yourself with coffee.

Nestled in what is slated to be the city's next creative arts capital, Zhongshan Building, Piu Piu Piu is the best shot for a cafe around here. On afternoons alone, seek out the small space for drinks, light bites and a conversation — either with cafe-owner Unagi or lingering customers-turned-friends. The Lemon Sour (RM15) is a remedy for hot days, featuring preserved lemons and soda. For an extra kick, get the Lemon Sour + (RM25), jazzed up with shochu. If you're here for coffee, we recommend the Latte (RM10) with a splash of Coconut Oil (RM2). Unagi points out that the oil adds a different dimension to the drink and also aids health by raising good cholesterol levels. There are also a handful of daily bakes by the counter — if the decadent Flourless Matcha Chocolate Brownie (RM14) is any indication, these will be delicious! Seats are few but there is plenty space to stand by the bar or outdoors by the balcony.
Avg price per person: RM20

Hidden in a new(ly painted) building in an old, dilapidated part of the city is this cafe with chill vibes at its best. Split into a small indoor space and a patio made for pictures, Piu Piu Piu has my heart (especially cos of that much random, super cute name). The Lemon Sour, made with fermented lemons, has a sour hit that's followed by a slightly sweet fizzy finish - cool drink for a hot day. Also look out for light bites and cakes.
