The crowning glory of the meal was the Hot Honey pizza. Calabrese sausage and Roquito peppers alongside melted mozzarella, Gran Milano cheese 🧀 it was supposed to come drizzled with honey but I didn’t taste any. I loved the crust (which is my fave part of pizza), which was thin and yet chewy in all the right places. It was a tad spicy, just enough to wake up the palate. Nothing some ice cold soda won’t balance out.

All in all, reasonably priced, tasty food in perfect portion sizes.
I liked the flavors in this delicious salad ($16). Creamy goat cheese and avocado, tangy balsamic and beetroot, and the earthy, nutty bitterness of rocket leaves. It came with two bread sticks which were made with the same dough as their dough balls and had the same problem; they were too cold.
The Festive Sampling Platter is one of their a Christmas specials which comes with 4 dough balls, 4 mozz sticks and 4 chicken wings. Ok this was kinda meh, the dough balls had a lot of potential (chewy with a nice texture) but were cold. But I did like the dips though; there’s a tangy chili dip, garlic butter and cranberry sauce.
The carbonara pizza was so hearty and good! The crispy thin crust along with the béchamel and smoky crispy bacon was to die for!! It was hearty without being to heavy. Kinda sad that the egg in the middle was fully cooked if not we could have dipped the pizza in the creamy yolk.
The mushroom truffle risotto wasn’t as amazing as it sounds, it tasted kinda like it was cooked in a Maggie soup base and it was a little pricy for its small portion.
Must order the pizza dough ball with the garlic butter!
Though I did enjoy my mains at pizza express (their pizzas are great!!!!!!!), but nope to their desserts :”( overpriced and really not worth it can get better cakes elsewhere!!!
Impossible teriyaki served with sauteed leek, mozzarella and a drizzle of vegan mayonnaise, topped with spring onions.
