More Reviews of good food at Plank Sourdough Pizza (Namly Estate)

This was a rare gem to find around the estate area, and they actually used sourdough bread instead of the normal dough, also, they used a wood-fire oven to fire up the pizza.

Both the tomato sauce, mozzarella and pepperoni and tomato sauce, mozzarella, parma ham and rocket taste really good, the toppings are like free flow raining onto the pizza. I have to say the dough because it is bread, it is slightly harder as compared to normal pizza crust. Nonetheless, I would still go back for more pizza ventures! Can’t wait to try their pizza no. 9 (which includes blue cheese)!

Tomato sauce, mozzarella,Parma ham and rocket. I feel obliged to list the ingredients because of the unconventional numerical convention behind each pizza. I like the bite of sourdough pizza! The more you masticate the stronger/sharper your jawline maybe? In that case just order more pizza to hit your Hyun Bin fanboy/girl goals.

Smoked salmon and sour cream on pizza? That’s like bagels and lox- flatbread version. The numerical naming convention at Plank is simple-y confusing. I guess it helps them in the order-taking. Pick-up your pizza yourself after ordering from Food Panda and you get almost 20% off! Why the extra egg you ask? We thought this was the Parma Ham one number you see. Good things wasted on stupid people. Lol 😂

HIGHLY recommend this dessert!!! The sourdough base means the dough is nice and chewy and tart, which adds a nice dimension to the sweet caramel custard and cooked bananas on top. Enjoyed this almost more than the actual pizza!!!

Since Plank Sourdough is by the people behind Baker & Cook, it's no surprise the pizza base was excellent. The bread was pleasantly chewy and very tasty on its own. However, as much as I love sourdough, I did find the balance of tangy-ness to be a little off. The tomato base was too much on the tart side for an already-tangy crust, while the amount of mozzarella wasn't sufficient to provide the indulgent satisfaction of digging into a pizza. All the toppings were tasty, and overall the meal was very pleasant and filling, but I would probably drop by only if I'm in the area!

Lemon hummus, red pepper and eggplant, garlic tzatziki dips were served with -literally- loads of crostini! We enjoyed this starter a lot, each dip was flavorful and distinct, while the crostini was crispy and featured at least three different breads. A great way to start the meal.

The nicest pizza I have encounter so far. The crust is soft and delicious. We tried smoked salmon, parma ham, pulled chicken and mushroom. They were superb!

The pizza dough itself is the star here. It tastes so good and chewy that I didn't even mind the lack of cheese on the plain cheese pizza!! The tomato sauce is a bit on the sweet side but it evens out with the tart of the sourdough itself. I also highly recommend the banoffee dessert pizza as that is something completely different and super tasty!!
