There is a new stall in the hood! JB style wanton noodles has invaded Yew Tee with a franchise brand. The noodles were springy and stringy and absorbed the sauce well. Although it must be said that sauce is a little too salty for my liking. The char siew here is made from lean meat and is pretty decent. I like that the noodles came with both fried and soupy wantons, giving patrons the best of both worlds. The wantons are of a decent size but is packed with a sizeable amount of ingredients. Every wanton provides a burst of juicy sweetness of minced pork. A pretty good find in this part of Singapore I must say. .
Despite it being a franchisee, I realised that every bowl of noodles is cooked with passion by the chef as one has to wait quite a while for the noodles to be cooked, unlike the typical bowls of noodles you get elsewhere that is done in less than a minute.

Just like the traditional Malaysia-style wanton noodles, springy noodles were tossed in dark sauce and chilli sauce. Now I can have wanton noodles anytime for breakfast or lunch!
