Got the sambal salmon bowl but switched the sambal to roe. However the roe was not fresh- you can tell from the colour. Please avoid getting the roe if you’re coming here! Otherwise, it was a pretty mediocre experience.

Keiki (S$15.99/ 150 grams)
Hawaiian Poke bowl
Base : Salad, White sushi rice, brown rice, or mix
Fish 🐟: 150 grams, up to 2 choices
Topping : Furikake, seaweed
Available at @PololiSG
If you selected salad as a base, it came with goma dressing. But no dressing for rice which could get a tab dry.

I was pretty excited to try the Poké bowl by Pololi but was utterly disappointed.
I had the Thai Style Ahi with Salad base.
Basically, it was a bowl of mixed greens with tuna seasoned with soy & coriander.
It was salty which was quite nice initially BUT i gt sick of it pretty quickly as there were NOTHING ELSE! What's worse: the fish was not cut properly which made it difficult to chew. Im feeling worse than when i was hungry 😠
💸: $15.90 for 150g of fish
Verdict: NEVER COMING BACK! Not worth my money and totally unsatisfying 😒👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Pololi, which has three locations in Hong Kong, has set up shop in Singapore. The fast-casual spot just minutes away from Telok Ayer MRT Station offers poké bowls to go — a nutritious yet tasty takeaway option for those working nearby. Start by choosing the size, Keiki ($15.99) gets you 150g of fish while Kama'aina ($17.99) gets you 180g, before selecting your base (rice, salad or both). Portions are generous, so small eaters might want to opt for the Keiki instead. They only offer salmon and tuna for protein, with six flavours that are on rotation daily. What makes this poké joint different from others is that you get to sample their flavours before deciding — a handy move when it comes down to choosing between Thai Style Tuna or Spicy Nutty Salmon (trust us, it's a tough decision). Pro tip: Skip the sauces (vinaigrette or soy) when you're ordering — the marinated fish is flavourful enough on its own.
Avg Price: $20 per person

Flavours from @pololisg we're definitely tasty and they change flavours everyday, you wouldn't know what you will get! When we were there, there were interesting flavours were California Roll and the Thai style. The flavours may become a little overwhelming and was too tasty (read: salty). Bowls starts from $15.99 (small) and $17.99 (medium).

On soft launch today is Pololi, a Poké bowl concept hailing from Hong Kong with its first outlet in Singapore now at China Square beside Segafredo Zanetti Espresso. Only brown rice is available for today (there is white rice and salad also available usually), and a variety of six different types of Poké available — they do allow patrons to taste the variety of flavours as well.

Got a regular bowl with brown rice and 180grams of fish — one can choose to mix up to two flavours here for each regular bowl. My choices were the Yuzu Soy Salmon and the Wasabi Mayo Tuna; the former that's not so much on Yuzu but carries a satisfying savouriness with fresh salmon cubes from the Shoyu while the latter carries a nice hint of fresh wasabi that seemed harmless at the start, but goes up the nose for that shiok, tingling sensation after a while.

Pololi is currently giving out a complimentary cup of Passionfruit Slushy with an optional shot of rum if you fancy for their soft launch today; do check them out!
