My table had the cod fish and it’s soooo small that it shouldn’t be called a main. It was only 5cm x 8cm. The restaurant ran out of lamb chop even tho I was there at 6pm! The beef tasted nicer than the pork and comes in a good size.
The Fillet Mignon was really tender and melted in our mouths. Recommend getting the Black Forest for dessert! Tons of textures and flavours
We visited Porta on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty empty. We chose the 3-course set menu and I must say it’s really a steal.
For appetisers we had the Spicy Salmon Tartare and the Spanish Octopus. The tartare wasn’t spicy but was fragrant while the Octopus was well-seasoned and tender. It’s rare to find an octopus dish so well cooked and not chewy or tough.
We both opted for the Filet Mignon and it cut like butter. That’s was how tender it was.
For dessert we had the Black Forest Cake and the Pecan Pie. The cake was a lava cake so that was a surprise but a good one nonetheless. The pie was not too sweet and it paired well with the scoop of ice cream on the side.
Our server Kavitha was amazing and kind. Would definitely come back again.
Cod watered down/not salted enough but v tender/flaky.
Octopus not bad, could be saltier, nice texture.
Lamb confit is just a lamb pie.
Iberian pork is nice as what others suggested
Free cake for birthday celebrations.
Medium rare mignon topped with Parsnip puree, ragout mushroom with shiraz sauce. Meat was tender and complements well with the sauces.

Was very satisfied with my meal. Had a range of choices for appetiser, main and desserts. Also had complimentary pecan pie which was very delicious as it was my friend’s birthday, i think it’s a good place to treat for special occasion
