Potato Head Singapore

2535 Wishlisted

Our first international outpost, Potato Head Singapore is housed across four floors of a restored Art Deco building on Chinatown’s picturesque Keong Saik road. Inside there’s a branch of Jakarta’s Three Buns burger shop, a rooftop to relax on as well as a laid back cocktail bar and audiophile listening room.

Had the Fun Boy Three, and it might be a solid contender for our favourite burger in Singapore. Three Buns never fails to deliver, in rich burgers exploding to the brim with goodness. Within: Truffle aioli, a 120g 21-day aged beef patty and generous portions of a roasted Portobello mushroom, melted smoked cheese topped with garlic and miso butter and double ketchup, in a lightly toasted demi brioche bun. 10/10 mindblowing for my palate, not very light on my wallet - but still worth it 🍔

Disclaimer: This was a while back so I do not remember the cost I am so sorry!

But if you’re a aperol spritz fan like me Potato Head Folk has a great one! The food was pretty great too but if you only eat chicken like me it has a limited selection of chicken dishes.

Honky tonk was the only chicken burger.
Buttermilk free-range fried chicken, coleslaw, lettuce, pickles, Big Poppa ‘hot sauce’ & den miso mayo in a toasted baked rice bun. $17++
Burning man is 150g Black Angus beef patty, smoked applewood cheddar, roasted jalapeño relish, hot ketchup & dashi mayo in a toasted whole meal bun. $20++
However, the Baby Huey is still the best. $17.
