The cold brew wasn’t as fruity as others that I’ve tried. If you prefer your coffee with nut milk, you should definitely try this! There’s a strong nutty taste with a great, smooth blend between the coffee and the milk.

The iced coffee with jelly was a pleasant surprise — the jelly added a nice coffee kick. The coffee jelly melts in your mouth, adding a different dimension that’s not too abrupt. You won’t have to chew the jelly!

The muffin is made with Marou chocolate, a brand in Vietnam. I was delighted to find it here in Singapore! If you prefer your muffin to be on the denser side, this muffin may not be for you. It feels more like a cupcake than your normal dense muffin.

Overall, I loved coming here! Drinks are very worth it with Burpple Beyond. Plus points for great and very nice staff!

I don’t run on coffee but I do enjoy coffee-flavoured desserts and PPP Coffee's Spro Soft Serve ($6.50) was certainly a treat as it was both smooth and creamy. Perfectly flavoured, the swirls were not too cloying. The aftertaste was pleasant as well, as the distinct astringency of the espresso was gently masked with a delicate milky sweetness. Paired with almond brittles and granola (with dried cranberry) bits, the added textures were very much welcomed and the nuttiness of the toppings worked brilliantly with the soft serve twirl. The crunchy morsels with their snappy textures and fragrance also balancing out the intensity of the yummy blend.

Wanted cold brew red but it was out so tried black instead - was too bitter for my liking. Ambiance is great but it did get really crowded at around 1-2pm

PPP Coffee at Funan is one of those places that I would visit in a heartbeat — a central location that serves up pretty good coffee and some rather interesting light bites and unique concoctions of specialty coffee. Had been eyeing on the recently-launched Espresso Soft Serve for quite a while already, so it was definitely something on the list when we had to make our visit to Funan to replace a cracked screen protector for the phone (yes, I have regular spots for almost everything 🤣)

The Espresso Soft Serve is something that we utterly enjoyed — think smooth and creamy soft serve that tastes almost like a well-balanced coffee milkshake; aptly sweet and sufficiently milky but carries a slight earthy undertone from the espresso used. Also liked the consistency of the soft serve here; not too dense nor icy — also liked how it wasn’t too “watery”, which made it feel very well-executed. The Espresso Soft Serve also comes with almond brittle and granola bits — both helping to add a crunch to the smooth soft serve; the brittle especially adding a complimenting nuttiness to the whole dessert.

There are quite a number of specialty coffee stores in City Hall, but PPP Coffee is one that comes to the mind whenever I am looking for a spot to sit around and chill with a cuppa at hand — liked how they do carry items such as the coffee-infused Ondeh Ondeh, as well as Papa’s Iced Coffee (iced latte with coffee jelly) that makes for something different from the usual. The Espresso Soft Serve is one item that adds on to the list of things I would order again the next time I am here.

What happens when you put soft serve & a shot of coffee together? Well, you get espresso (spro for short) soft serve.

New on the menu at PPP Coffee, the Spro Soft Serve ($6.50) packs your caffeine punch in a dessert form.

A swirl of soft serve is topped with an almond brittle and granola bits to give you that additional nutty crunch, which also pairs well with the espresso base (I'm guessing they used their Nuts & Bolts blend). What you get is a nutty harmony which is perfect for Singapore's weather which is constantly hot 🔥
