The description excited me. Soft shell crab, sea urchin oil, shredded vegetables. Its default is maccheroni but if you know me I much prefer noodle pasta so I requested the change. As you can imagine, it's quite umami lah, but too oily.
This item read "mudpie" but it was mainly kahlua ice cream. Despite its misleading title, the ice cream was thick and rich with a welcome addition of chocolate coffee beans in it.
Overall ®️: 6/10 -- a pass only because of the pizzas, the great ambience, and service. However, as an Italian restaurant, I'm baffled by how their pasta and ravioli was. I really don't think it's worth the exorbitant prices here.
A bit underwhelming. The coffee was actually leaking out of the soggy finger biscuits at the bottom -- it was soaked too much liquid. The maracapone was good though.
Very tender lamb shank atop a semolina cake and lentil beans. The lamb came apart easily but was a bit dry inside. I'm also personally not a fan of semolina cake. Not that outstanding overall.
I'd typically expect contrasting flavours to counter the fishy taste of cod, but the inside of this ravioli was an unpleasantly fishy mush and there was no sauce to balance the flavours. The skin of the ravioli was also too thick -- more like a chinese dumpling rather than a delicate ravioli.
This consisted of maccheroni with mixed vegetables and urchin oil, and topped with fried soft shell crab. It tasted as bad as it looks -- like a bland hokkien mee. Perhaps I'm just uncultured, but this dish tasted terrible.
