One of the best savoury waffles ever. Scrambled eggs, grilled chicken, caramelised bacons and wildrockets, grilled and grated cheeses all slapped on top of a waffle that was drenched in very delicious sauces --- very sinful. One improvement that could be done would be not to overcook the waffle as it was dark brown and a little charred. Overall, still a great meal.

A very satisfying piece of art to look at. I almost didn’t want to tackle this at all because of how beautiful it looks!

Taste-wise, it was pretty decent. 🤔 Honestly though, I don’t think it holds a candle to other desserts that I’ve tried which have incorporated miso; I couldn’t quite detect any umami-ness in a single bite – it mostly tasted like a regular cream cheese tart. 😅 But that’s not to say that I didn’t find it delicious. I paired this with a cup of their Single Origin Hot Chocolate, which hit the spot on a lull Tuesday afternoon. 🙂 (7.2/10)

Oh, and funny story though - before coming here, I thought this was the item that everybody was talking about. So I went down with the one objective of trying it. No mains, no other dessert. Just this one. And now that I’m penning this write-up, well well well…it turns out that people were talking and semi-raving about the grilled cheese instead. Hahaha count on me to get my details right. 😂

As part of the special menu that’s only available for a limited time, the Sloppy Waffles, as the name suggests, might appear ‘sloppy’ in terms of presentation but as the saying goes “Looks are deceiving” which totally holds true here!✨ Comprising of bacon, grilled chicken thigh (hidden underneath the scrambled eggs), cheese and baby spinach lying atop atop a thick and fluffy Belgian waffles that’s drizzled with homemade Thai peanut curry sauce, the latter felt like a combination of peanut butter and sriracha mayo which got me sold and hooked onto, a sauce that I wouldn’t mind spamming onto anything, be it toast, waffles, pancakes etc etc. The Belgian waffles come with a soft, fluffy and cake-like interior that would have been better if it’s slightly crisp at the edges but no complains though, since this was a savoury waffle instead of a sweet one (which I m usually more particular about, especially when paired with ice cream). The scrambled eggs were done to an ideal fluffy, sufficiently moist texture and topped with a generous portion of melted, creamy and gooey cheese - sinful yet comforting pleasures! 😋 Along with tender grilled chicken thigh and a crisp, smoky bacon, I certainly do hope this dish would stay permanent in the menu as it was really, really worth the calories and indulgence. Although the price might appear slightly steep, portion is generous indeed and would certainly fill you up on an empty stomach! 👍🏻 .
