This dish was astronomically-priced at $27++! However, it was indeed served with around 4 prawns and some crab meat, as well as quail eggs and pesto + chilli paste! The soup was lighter, yet fragrant, so it was definitely drinkable if you wished to. Definitely different from the laksa we are all used to!

Serving was extremely generous and you can smell the truffle even before the dish is placed on your table 😋 Definitely one of the must-trys at PS.Cafe

This is the richest chocolate cake I’ve ever eaten (for those who love fudgy dense cakes, this is for you!). It’s so decadent that even I, a chocolate lover, can’t finish this by myself. The cake sits in a pool of chocolate syrup, and pairs well with the vanilla ice cream. It’s definitely worth bringing your date here if he/she loves their desserts, especially chocolate😋

Surprised by how much I enjoyed it, PS. Café’s Dark Chocolate Banana Cheesecake ($15) is probably my new go-to dessert there. Loving how well the flavours of banana and cheese were able to meld together in the body of the cake, I really like the smooth texture and the fact that the elements were not very overpowering. The chocolate ganache at the very top also adding some bittersweetness to the light cheesecake while the pastry base held a very delicate buttery fragrance.

The price point might make it a little hard to swallow but PS. Café's Buttermilk Fried Chicken ($27) was pretty good and certainly satisfied my craving for fried foods. Crispy, succulent, and well-seasoned, the assortment of wings and boneless chicken thigh were all fried to perfection. The crunchy batter was thankfully not too thick and best eaten while it is hot. Served with smokey jalapeno aioli on the bottom and a saucer of barbecue sauce at the side, the chicken was a tad cloying towards the end but wasn’t greasy in my opinion and the tangy aioli did help cut the heaviness of the meat. The portion was also great for sharing if you want to save some space for dessert and their signature truffle fries.

Added the cloud emoji in the title because it is so apt for their Truffle Shoestring Fries! The dish was $15 (slightly on the pricy side for fries) but wow the serving was HUGE! Two of us had trouble finishing it but maybe it’s because we also ordered two mains. Could get more friends to share this. Or maybe try requesting for half the portion (half the price) as seen on some of the burpple reviews?

The fries were not too overwhelming with their truffle taste, just the right amount. And the mountain of parmesan shavings went so so well with the fries! Shoestring is also the best cut for this dish.

We were surprised to know that the place was really fancy with nice ambience. But definitely one of the quieter places in Ann Siang hill. Be sure to make a reservation in advance :)
