From the Burpple community

I heard mixed reviews about this dish and hesitated to order this. But with the option to upgrade to truffle fries with an addition of $5, I decided it was a good way to let me try their famed and loved fries without having to order the whole serving of it ($16).

The truffle fries were so fragrant and crispy. Some restaurants' truffle fries smell like truffle and taste nothing like it. But there's no such thing here at PS cafe. The dish was accompanied by an aioli sauce which has a lemongrass fragrance to it, making it so addictive!!

Now for the burger itself, the main star is the patty. There was no heavy tasting sauce or garnish to carry the dish. The meatyness of the patty and freshness of the beef were more than sufficient to make this burger one of my favourites at this price point.

The pops have a crispy exterior that holds a creamy ball of duck meat. The tartness of the tomato sauce cuts through the creamy goodness and adds an extra dimension to the dish.

Do not let the price tag deter you! This is easily my most favourite chocolate cake in Singapore.

The cake is moist and dense like no other. How can cake hold so much chocolate in it??? The icing was sweet but not overly so. The thick and luscious chocolate sauce gave the cake an extra richness. The vanilla ice cream doesn't taste too special but you can tell its quality vanilla ice cream because it has the black vanilla bits in them!! The ice cream is just a genius move as it goes really well to prevent jelatness from the chocolatey goodness!!

I shared this with my partner but I can definitely finish this on my own because its so so good. I can imagine this being the ultimate comfort food for any mood and situation.

Decadent rich luscious dark chocolate - what more can one ask for in a cake! 😌😌 Just as good as I remembered it to be, though the one at Dempsey might be a little less dry, but still very very satisfying with every bite! Perfect with the dark chocolate sauce and a scoop of vanilla ice cream 👍🏻👍🏻 PSA selected cakes and tarts go for 50% after 10pm so definitely drop by for some after dinner desserts 😋😋

Some of the dishes I enjoyed at PS Cafe. Truffle shoestring fries drizzled with truffle oil and parmesan cheese come in gigantic serving. Is crispy golden that is not overly greasy, which helped to give the fries a good crunch and great for sharing. Beer battered Fish & Chips, crispy batter that coated the delicate fish and more importantly, it felt clean and fresh, without leaving that stale oil after taste nor greasy lips. They also does a wonderful Aglio Olio. The garlic flavour shines through, and with the use of some good quality olive oil, the sauce is perfect. The pasta is served with really fresh seafood too, making this dish a delight to eat. The crispy garlic bits on top provides a nice crunch as well. Overall PS Cafe is a place that I will go for great ambience. Is utterly serene and cosy atmosphere. Their mains are okay but consider the price, which to be honest, is a rip-off. It is the kind of place you would go for a date night with love ones for its quiet ambience or with your favourite girls.

Probably one of my fav places be it for brunch/lunch/dinner, and this time I went for the Sticky Date Pudding (~$16) instead of my usual cake🍰
Pudding had a banana cake texture, crumbly, moist and soft! Sauce was strongly toffee flavoured and really sweet, so you might wna go easy on that 😋
For maximum satisfaction, I’d suggest waiting till the vanilla bean ice cream is half melted into the pudding before getting a bite of the icecream- pudding- sauce mixture.... heavenly 👌🏻‼️
