Totally understand why this is one of the recommended dishes that keeps popping up in reviews. The sticky date pudding is served warm, and isn’t eligible for the 50% offer after 9pm, but it’s worth it even at full price. It’s a large pudding so it’s good for sharing.

The sticky date pudding is super moist and yummy. There’re some pieces of dates inside which add contrasting chewiness to the soft pudding. The pudding itself isn’t that sweet, but it’s served in a sticky toffee sauce that was a little too sweet for my liking (although I do understand since it’s toffee). The toffee sauce went well with the pudding, and getting a mouthful of the pudding, sauce and vanilla ice cream was the ultimate trinity as the contrasting flavours and textures threw a party for my tastebuds.

PS. Cafe offers 50% off their desserts (note that this only applies to cakes and tarts on display) after 9pm. Note that different outlets have different offer starting times but the one at Paragon begins from 9pm.

There were only the coconut tart and lemon tart left on the menu that were available for this offer and the waitress suggested getting the coconut tart so we tried it. After 50% off the original price of $13, we paid $6.50 for a coconut tart served in condensed milk/coconut milk (?). This tart was pretty good, I didn’t really taste the coconut flavour in the tart though. The tart filling is quite crumbly, and it’s topped with almond florentines. Eating the almond florentines on their own was too sweet for my liking, but they were good with the tart. I didn’t think the milk below added much flavour but it might’ve been to make the tart less dry.

This wasn’t a dish on the menu that would’ve caught my eye under normal circumstances and I probably wouldn’t order it at regular price but it’s worth it at $6.50 as it’s really large and not too bad.

Oh my god. I think I’ve found the ultimate chocolate dessert. I’ve tried the Death By Chocolate cake from Riders Cafe and the chocolate cake from CreatureS - both were great, but the double chocolate blackout cake from PS Cafe just took the cake by storm.

It’s one huge chocolate cake slice in a moat of chocolate sauce and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. In other words, we just died and went to chocolate heaven. The cake and chocolate sauce were served warm, which was a heavenly contrast against the vanilla ice cream. The cake was so moist and soft, and so dang chocolatey! It did start to feel a little jelak, but we did manage to finish the dessert between 3 of us. Perhaps a larger scoop of ice cream would’ve helped cut the gooey chocolate overload a little more. A sinful indulgence, but one worth the calories for sure.

I haven’t been to PS Cafe in years and they have expanded a whole lot since their days at Ann Siang Hill. Visited the Paragon outlet at level 3 which was bustling on a Wednesday night!

There are many who claim that PS Cafe’s truffle fries are the best in Singapore, whether that’s the case or not, it certainly is one of the staple items that you see on almost every table. The aromatic smell of truffle wafted out of the kitchen, preceding the arrival of our truffle fries.

Let me tell you, these are some damn good fries. They’re crispy on the outside, and don’t get soggy or soft even after they’ve cooled down throughout the meal. There’s a ton of grated cheese on the top, so be sure to eat that quickly or else it hardens into huge chunks. The fries are not overly oily, which is great. I thought the serving was incredibly large, but we surprisingly finished the whole basket among 3 of us! This is a strong contender against Atlas Coffeehouse (and their sister cafes) famous truffle fries, but ultimately whichever you find the best in Singapore is probably a matter of your own taste. I found that PS Cafe’s truffle fries did not have such an strong aroma as compared to Atlas’s, but both were very good fries in their own regard.

The spaghetti was really flavourful and it took on an Asian twist to a classic Italian dish. Fancy seeing some green sugar peas being tossed in there too. The massive prawns were so good... highlight of the dish period.
