Really tasty burger with a well-seasoned patty, fried onions, bacon and some crispy vegetables. The thickly cut wedges are a nice alternative to the usual truffle fries! I really enjoy the aioli that comes with the fries as I think it has a really unique Asian flavour (oddly reminiscent of Thai spices but I might be trippin’).

Decided to try something new other than my usual sticky date pudding. Had the banana mango crumble, which had softened pieces of mango and banana cooked in a caramelised sauce at the bottom. Flavour wise, the ice cream went well with the caramelised fruits. The buttery crumble also helped provide some contrast in texture. While this dish (approx $13?) was tasty, I’m still a bigger fan of the sticky date pudding! Maybe you can try this if you’re feeling adventurous that day.

The ribs ($34) were seasoned perfectly with a tangy and rich sauce. The ribs were soft enough to slide off the bone, but also firm enough to give some bite and texture to the meat.

Carrot cakes rank rather highly in my desserts list, & I enjoyed M's Carrot Cake ($11.00++) very much. I am living for this - a moist & perfectly spiced cake, with the classic cream cheese frosting & walnuts on top.

I take back what I said - mayyyybe I can finish this one on my own 😂

I'm not exactly one to order a Sticky Date Pudding ($15.00++), but this came highly recommended. Upon first bite whoa JESUS TAKE THE WHEEL, this is pretty good. Served warm & moist, this was quite heavenly. & if you read other reviews, you'll notice they say the same thing - PS Café, your consistency is commendable.

The sticky toffee sauce is sweet, you can't deny or help it. What's nice about it is that you can mitigate how much of it you want in each bite. Do you dunk, or do you lightly dip? The choice is yours.

Also, you may or may not enjoy it with their ubiquitous truffle fries. Dun say you hear from me one ah.

Never one to order carrot cake when alone, I constantly find myself with dinning companions who enjoy the classic spiced cake. Thus, at the recent visit to PS cafe, I was introduced to their home-baked M’s Carrot Cake ($9.90). Surprisingly good with a well-balance hit of cinnamon flavour, the sizable wedge was wonderfully moist and not all that sweet, dense or oily. Maybe the best one yet, my favourite part was the light cream cheese frosting which didn’t seek to overwhelm the other elements. The generous use of walnuts in the cake and embellished on the top also added a nice crunch to the treat.
