'100-Second' Stewed Yellow Croaker

A dish of which its craftsmanship has been listed in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List. Our specialty-Heng Hwa Bee Hoon-the only sundried vermicelli milled by hand in Putian, is brimming with glutinous fragrance.

A popular traditional Fujian dish - an appetising dish boasting a perfect balance of sour and sweetness from the real lychees used. Hands down one of the best sweet and sour pork I've tasted. Batter was thin and extremely crispy while retaining the juicienes of the pork.

The fish was quite succulent (no fishy taste!), and the soup light but flavourful. A very warm and comforting dish to have especially on a cold day!

Their sweet & sour pork is by far the most tender one I've had in a while, and it isn't fatty so I find it v enjoyable. There's a very slight crisp - I'm a crunch kinda girl so if I were to nitpick I would have preferred something more crunchy. But still, it's v good! They use lychees instead of pineapples which is smth different compared to regular ssp; I like that they give a considerable amount of bell peppers/onions too!
