Comes w charsiu, soft boiled egg and pork sukiyaki slices. Missed the sweet umami broth so much! No idea why I rmbed it being jelat because of the sweetness(maybe cos it's rather heavy) but it's really umami more than anything else, meaning it goes well with chili as well(chili flakes/red hell).

Charsiu was really lean so it was slightly tough but it was quite smoky. Pork belly slices were nicely chewy and well marinated in a sweet savoury marinade. Not as overly filling as I remembered it, but maybe it's really been so long since I've eaten here haha

Not very expensive. Generous portion of salted egg. You can TOP up $4 for a chanwamushi and a drink of your choice!

A new mazesoba is available at Ramen Champion Bugis+’s Teppan no Hoshi stall! Doesn’t break the mold, but this is one solid bowl of thick noods with great chew. Chef Horikawa gives this an awesome hit of spice with his chilli paste and original sauce blend. Heavy flavours, but oh so tasty.

Pork slices plated nicely like a flower. The tonkotsu broth was rich and I liked that it wasn’t packed with too much ingredients, just ramen with 4 huge pieces of pork, spring onions, fungus and an egg. The simplicity of the dish really allowed me to fully ‘immerse’ myself in the richness of the tonkotsu broth, which I truly appreciated.
