All their broth are rich, dense, thick, creamy and umami.😋 Noodles were close to slurping good and is easy to chew.
I love garlic so I had this. Garlicky at its best and overpowering the broth. Comes with black fungus, pork belly, chasiu, pork shabu, seaweed, marinated egg & spring onion.

For those who just want a normal bowl. The broth is pretty solid and tend toward the saltier side.

The soup was really flavorful, even if it was on the salty side. Nice garlic aroma. But I prefer the spicy one.

The char Siew was quite fatty in some areas and tough in others. Fatty parts were nicely melt in the mouth. Tough parts needed some jaw work. Gravy was the sweet Chinese braised pork type. I had hoped for more teriyaki style.

Needed my egg to be hard boiled, and explained my condition to the server. She tried dissuading me, saying that it would not be nice. I emphasized I had no choice. Just when I thot the matter was closed, the chef himself came to persuade me. Again, I had to explain and emphasized my lack of choice in the matter. And that it was doc’s orders. Well, the egg came looking really weird so I had to give it to hubby. While I do admire persistence, in this case it wasn’t warranted. Esp when the Harbourfront branch gave me hard boiled egg with a smile and no comments.
