Ramen Keisuke Kani King

527 Wishlisted
~$15/pax
In Ramen Keisuke Kani King, instead of using pork base which is commonly used, Mr Takeda uses specially imported swimming crabs and chicken bones to create the creamy base for Crab Broth Ramen with Rich Soup whereas for Crab Broth Ramen with Clear Soup, it will be a mixture of crabs, special blended herbs and vegetables and subsequently simmered down for hours to retain the distinct seafood flavour in the soup base.

Ordered this in light broth and I didn’t regret! The seafood kick was strong. Pork belly was soft and tender whereas the char siu was normal. Noodles were cooked perfectly. Would recommend choosing light for flavor as the soup base is a tad salty!

Basic kani broth ramen was not bad. It was packed with flavour and came well with the ramen. Came with free flow sides (seasoned veggi/ beansprouts, mayo and hardboiled egg) too. Total bill after service and taxes came up to $16+

One of my favourites in singapore with a very unique, very rich flavour. Been here so many times! I go for full flavour, which may be too salty for some, so go for normal if you’re a first timer!

$15.90 bowl of Kani Ramen comes with flavoured egg, 2 slices of char siu, bamboo shoots and black fungus. The broth was indeed rich and thick with a light crab flavour. Tasted pretty similar to keisuke’s lobster ramen I would say.

Of cos, there was the standard thick and rich and the clear version to cater to those who might prefer a lighter broth.

The soup has a really strong crab taste, which I really like.
