In Ramen Keisuke Kani King, instead of using pork base which is commonly used, Mr Takeda uses specially imported swimming crabs and chicken bones to create the creamy base for Crab Broth Ramen with Rich Soup whereas for Crab Broth Ramen with Clear Soup, it will be a mixture of crabs, special blended herbs and vegetables and subsequently simmered down for hours to retain the distinct seafood flavour in the soup base.

One of my favourites in singapore with a very unique, very rich flavour. Been here so many times! I go for full flavour, which may be too salty for some, so go for normal if youโ€™re a first timer!

$15.90 bowl of Kani Ramen comes with flavoured egg, 2 slices of char siu, bamboo shoots and black fungus. The broth was indeed rich and thick with a light crab flavour. Tasted pretty similar to keisukeโ€™s lobster ramen I would say.

Of cos, there was the standard thick and rich and the clear version to cater to those who might prefer a lighter broth.

The soup has a really strong crab taste, which I really like.

Decided to change things up and try their dipping noodles! If you thought the rich broth was thick, the tsukemen broth is twice the viscosity and thickness ๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿคฏ And it works so well when dipping the firm noodles in and slurping all that goodness up ๐Ÿคค๐Ÿคค Appreciated that they seasoned the bamboo shoots too! Plus the usual Keisuke free flow hard boiled eggs (dip them in the kewpie mayo!!), cabbage kelp salad and spicy beansprouts ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•

Reliable place to get my ramen fix as usual! Broth is thick and very crabby and not crappy at all ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹ Other than the 2 thin slabs of char siew (1 fatty and 1 lean) that needs to be improved in quantity and effort, the noodles and broth were done just right! Plus the usual Keisuke free flow hard boiled eggs (dip them in the kewpie mayo!!), cabbage kelp salad and spicy beansprouts ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•
