Chewy Dry Ramen that comes with a small bowl of peppery soup to go along. Own taste could be adjusted with provided vinegar and chili oil! For the big eaters! There is free upsize for noodles and if that’s not enough you can request for rice too!

Located behind Boat Quay, @ramen_matsuri is well-known for their Signature Chicken Broth, Mazesoba and Izakaya dining experience. Made specially by professional ramen chefs, their rich chicken soup is made fresh by cooking whole quality chickens for more than 6 hours over a strong fire. That’s obviously why their soup ramen is always so flavourful and yummy!😋👍

Recently added to the menu, their Italian Taiwan Mazesoba features a number of toppings - Spicy Minced Pork, Shaved Grana Padano Cheese, Mozzarella, Cheddar, Half Boiled Egg, Spring Onion & Pepper. The combination revealed a perfect harmony of flavours that I enjoyed very much. So proud to say that the bowl was wiped clean by me within minutes.😉

They told me this was their most popular item, so I went ahead and was really pleased with this hearty bowl of dry noodles. Also I found out mazesoba is one of the better things for takeaway as they remain tasty even after some time.

Served with lots of spring onion, minced pork, seaweed, bamboo shoots and an egg in the middle. Mix everything properly, add chilli oil or flakes to your liking. Ta da, every mouth is Japan shouting at you. Chicken kaarage elevated the entire dish because who doesn't like some fried and tasty protein with ramen. The restaurant is two storey, with plenty of seats. Might be slightly crowded during lunch time but I have always managed to get seats around 12pm lunch time.

The oil pooling at the bottom of my bowl gave me one of the worst guilts of my life. This was fragrant, savoury, porky: sinfully good. The noodles had a nice bite and carried the medley of flavours incredibly well. Pro tip: mix well and have sips of the ginger soup to cleanse your palate.

I got the famous dry ramen ($12.80). You get to “adjust the taste” with the vinegar, garlic chips and sesame oil placed on your table.

mmmMmM it tastes pretty good the first few bites but got a bit too gelat (probably because of the yellow noodles ) and the taste just felt really repetitive so I doubt I’ll be back anytime soon - but definitely worth try if you haven’t try anything like that.
