Reviews of good food at Ramen Nagi

I ordered their Green King ($15.90) dish, which seemed like an odd combination of ingredients (Basil, olive oil and cheese) initially but it turned out to be a very tasty and unique dish that I often crave for from time to time. The broth is rich and flavourful and the pork belly was absolutely delectable. In addition, I like that we can customise every aspect of our ramen, such as the noodle texture, the amount of special sauce, and the strength of the garlic taste. Furthermore, I thoroughly enjoyed their friendly service staff, as well as the ambience and comfortable layout of the restaurant. Highly recommended!

I'm a huge fan of ramen, tonkotsu broth ramen in particular, and I greatly enjoyed my ramen meal over at Ramen Nagi. I ordered the Red King ($15.90) Ramen with a Butao Level 2 (spiciness level).

It was just right; spicy enough to keep me excited while mild enough not to overwhelm the taste of the broth. The pork belly option is highly recommended; it was a huge piece of pork belly just sitting in the centre of the bowl of ramen, and it tasted great! What I especially loved was also how springy the noodles were - they were cooked al dente and had a great bite to them - some thing that often goes under the radar in ramen shops.

Overall a great dining experience, highly recommended for after-work casual dining and catchup with friends!

I love eating ramen and I was excited when I heard about this ramen place that I've never tried before. You could customise almost every part of your ramen bowl (soup richness, noodle hardiness and more), which was great especially for me, since I'm a huge garlic lover and excitedly ticked 'heavy garlic'. Of course, I got the Black King, with fragrant blackened garlic and squid ink and it didn't disappoint. The broth was flavourful, noodle done just the way I had requested, and I will definitely be back for more.

Another ramen to add to my list!
[+] it was a good, decent bowl of ramen. Everything was nicely done.
[+] I like that the broth has a kick of spiciness from their special sauce which makes it less jelak and differentiates it from other ramen soup base

I didn’t order the tamago egg as I saw that the portion is quite big.

Worth the price and calories.

Chicken Karaage ($5.90) taste quite good for marinade chicken thighs with custom made mayonnaise.

Original BUTAO King ($13.90) soup broth is not that salty and quite creamy. I like the customisation for ramen part that people choose what range for richness of soup (normal), spiciness level (none), firmness of noodles (normal), heaviness of sauce (normal), amount of garlic (none), and choice of pork shoulder char shu (I choose this) or belly (I didn't have the chance).

... and it’s Ramen Nagi! This is the curry king special currently delivered, and it’s a powerhouse. The first few spoons of this left me in heaven. Big portion and strong flavours - the ball of mince in the centre is rocket fuel :) Will be back to try more... make sure you’re hungry when you arrive.

NEW seasonal limited king ramen with only 400 bowls available, do catch it while it lasts! With a shrimp infused tonkotsu broth, this limited seasonal special is non-customizable and comes with pink sakura shrimps atop a pool of shrimp paste, shrimp oil, chashu, spring onions, crunchy kikurage and finished off with their housemade fire sauce. The end result was a broth that was rich and umami-packed, resembling a cross between prawn mee and tonkotsu (pork bone) soup. Thick, flavourful and aromatic coupled with a lingering umami seafood-square flavour that would appeal to all seafood lovers! Along with tender slices of chashu, the Sakura shrimps provided a pleasant crispness (apart from its pleasant umami contribution) while the kikurage also contributed to a crunchy texture. The addition of egg to ramen is always an essential for me, and I was glad this came with a characteristic vibrant, soft and molten yolk. .

Found another ramen place that I like. This is a bowl with fragrant blackened garlic and squid in a silky rich broth.
🔸
It was really good. And I was told that Ramen Nagi serves only handcrafted noodles, custom cooked with premium quality ingredients air flown from Japan.

The Tomato King ramen is a rich infusion of umami tomatoes with Ramen Nagi’s signature pork broth, creating layers of flavours in the complex broth. The thin, long noodles were a stand out for their smooth texture, with the choice to customise the hardness to your liking.

The Black King (blackened garlic & squid broth) was amazing and the pork belly was flavorful. You can customize how you want your ramen to taste or leave it to the chef's recommendation in the order sheet. I also noticed that they do not serve water here but you can order the refillable tea (hot/cold) at $1.

Had their black king ramen, configurations as per the chef's recommendation. Loved the flavorful ramen soup! The garlic and (i think) sesame from the ball made it even better! And oh yea, loved the generousity with the spring onions, definitely gave a refreshing finish to every bite.

Located at suntec tower 2, went in with no expectation and came out surprisingly satisfied.

Price reasonable

Ambience is similar to ramen restaurant in Japan.

I quite like my pork ramen just look at that thick flavorful piece of pork! I would say, it is value for money.

Their new ramen came with creamy tonkotsu broth infused with the sweetness from tomato, plus a tinge of spice.
🔸
I was told they used plump and juicy tomatoes to provide that rich and hearty infusion with Nagi’s tonkotsu pork-broth. It was then topped with succulent chashu, grilled cherry tomatoes, and a ball of seasoned minced pork. You can choose to eat the minced pork on its own, or mix it into the soup.
🔸
Ramen Nagi is also running the following promotion: top up $5.90 to add a side of Chicken Karaage (3 pcs) and a can of Ayakata Green Tea (U.P $8.90).
