I went for this via Eatigo and paid $8.20 for this bowl of Spicy Shoyu Ramen [Before discount: $12.90].

Spice level is acceptable, and didn’t mask the flavour of the shoyu. The noodles were quite average in my opinion. The service was slightly tardy, but I think it was because they were short on manpower today. I liked that there was a lot of minced meat in my soup so I felt that I had sufficient protein in my meal. The char siew was fatty, and well, fats is goodness.

The meat was not the melt-in-your-mouth kind of delicious, and the noodles were so-so, but the pretty substantial bowl of soupy ramen for the price of less than $10 made up for the parts that fell short of expectations.

This was regular shoyu and it tasted even lighter than the shio. I like my ramen stock to have a strong flavor, so this really wasn’t to my taste.

The shio soup was too bland for my taste. I like my ramen stock to have strong flavor. I feedback to the waitress and she said they purposely toned down the taste cos people complained it was too salty.

The plain miso didn’t lose to the spicy version. Very savory and so delicious. I loved their char siew. The chargrilled bits smelled and tasted lovely. Once again, the seaweed wilted upon arrival. I don’t fancy wilted and disintegrated seaweed, so next time I must remember to eat it first. I liked the mushroom hiding inside the soup. Sweet and bursting with soup flavor.

It was more worth it to get the deluxe version, cos at extra $2, I got seaweed and 3 more pcs of char siew. When it arrived, I could smell the grilled char siew! Heavenly smell!!! 🤤 Melt-in-the-mouth tender too! I liked the springy noodles. The poor seaweed had already wilted by the time this bowl reached my table cos soup was steaming hot. I thot the soup was a tad salty but hubby loved it. Spicy level was good. We both approve.

I got this $9.90 set which I thot was a steal. But fried rice had no garlic taste, no wok hei and not a lot of pork pcs. The good thing was the generous amt of egg, which thou important, was not the main reason I got a fried rice. The fried chicken was over-fried, so it was tough. Sauce was good thou.
